While I disagree about the difficulty, I too cheat just to save time (i.e. use cheat engine to max my stats and then stick a few billion $ in the bank to fund everything off interest).

Or rather, the difficulty is a curve and it's easy to bite off more than one can chew. For example, even with sixteen girls assigned to the nightclub, a 100% marketing rating and a 100% service rating I'm still six months in and it has only just now started bringing literally any money - all while costing over $100K per month to operate. And since you can't sell it, this will absolutely break the bank for anyone who buys it before they're ready.

It's the same way with the strip joint and even just opening a studio. The full staff needed to make that transition will easily run over $50K per month, and if it isn't immediately making more than that then it's another financial waterfall leading to certain doom.

So far, camwhores have been the only start-up project that almost can't fail, and even then as new game iterations have arrived their tolerance for my "fair cut" has dropped from around 25% to 10% or less. Websites can be easy to run, too, and should be the next step after that. Quality won't be great but the fans aren't that demanding with that particular venture (i.e. just pick generic boy-girl and flood it with home movies).

Meaning that most people (who don't cheat) will be stuck making home movies with cheap hookers for, oh, two or three years before amassing enough cash to expand into other things safely & successfully. Mind that this method is reliable and it will pay all your bills and you will make a profit... just very, very slowly.

If you don't want to cheat you can still grind your way to success, however. The trick is to keep dumping all your profits into the bank and sucking up to the manager to get better and better returns. Eventually, once you're making enough off those returns to hire one employee, go ahead and so - and make sure that the person you hire is Jenny so that can stop wasting time & energy at the gym. Don't even think about expanding your staff or facilities in any way until their expenses are safely covered by your bank income. Do this and you will have a very long, if very dull and grindy, career - and without cheating.

Or you could just cheat and skip straight to the good parts :D
So as you said, and I already find it out, its pretty bad for a management game. The curve of progression is AWFUL !!! And tutorial dont give the right hints to help you (like he is telling you to quickly open a company, when you are obviously not ready to do it).

As I said in a precedent post, cost of salaries are too high, and gap between lvl 2 girls and lvl 3 girls is terrible (3 times price to make a scene, for 1,5x money from movie).

So yeah, I try to play without cheats but its so long and so frustrating. This game would be a good management game with a few changes. But dev seems to dont care about !!!

Ohhhh, you were talking about that game. I thought they meant this game had hidden beastiality.
I wish this game had more questionable content, like the option to make 2 girls one cup then get raided by the police and put in prison like in real life, or whatever the fuck the Japanese do in their porn, tentacles and pixels, scary stuff.

I started a new game to see if everything you both say was right and as far as i'm concerned, saying the game is impossible seems quite too much.
The first months are very slow. But you need to get your stats at 100, and to understand the core gameplay. Yes you are poor, yes you have to recrute some cheap prostitutes all the time because everything is too expensive, yes you need to put the little staff you got on minimum wage and hope they accept, yes you need to distribute some good movies instead of publishing solo but ... You can clearly progress. On a slow management level game pace, but you progress. And the gameplay slowly change.

The game is clearly not beginer friendly. Too much info, and you do not know what is relevant. The guide on the blog is not that helpfull either. Even worst : some advices from 1 year ago are irrelevant now. And the dev is on a break so there are less people to actually help here.
My advice is : play it slow, very slow. Never overpay, always recruit some girl that do scenes for 100 bucks, and get only directors and maybe some security until you got 4 studios making low quality movies. Then you can start upgrade, recruting, very slowly. Get moderately decent actress, camshow, and start some easy to fill websites. At this moment only, recruit the "story girls".
Avoid for at least one if you two years the nightclub and strip club, ignore the mansion, ignore the rivals, give 0 contract, but do every possible request to get the all the money you can. Be ready to loose some reputation to keep your money, do not hesitate to get rid of staff, and always pay your actress minimum wage. Put the game on "very easy" to make all of above a little bit faster if you want.
The websites will at some point get you enough monthly incomes for you to play a bit more freely, but it is slow and you have ot be meticulous. Good luck !

One can do fine within about 6 months and just 1 studio. There's a bunch of save-scum strategies (such as save scum to see if their potential is too high - in which case, leave them alone until you can put them on contract), but I'm keeping my mouth shut to avoid them being de-cheesed ;) .
Biggest problem for me is the Consistency penalty, regardless if it's bugged or not. I didn't really want to pile on, as it's been complained about already, but I can't see how it's compatible with fun. I'd rather make a scene with the level 10 Ethiopian one day, the level 2 redhead with high potential the next day, and then the occasional FFM scene. Consistency is the last thing I'd want, lol.

Minor problem, is that randos should show up with the impreg dialog 18 days later, instead of getting deleted. I get that it saves a bit of space, but they can be deleted after you choose the big A for $1000. Also, there's not much difference between the keep it options. I think one is maybe better for reputation, but that's it. (and still bug where the big A option results in clothing change).

Ok, since I'm blabbing on, it would be great if some of the anims had the Cum In option implemented. Doesn't even need to show much for a first pass; just the option is good. Especially the yoga ones... good anims, but can't do anything to finish. (I should mention that I'm a weirdo that doesn't really care about BJs)

You actually can skip most of the early game grind if you start with reputation level 2 (which really is level 1.5 x_X) and 50k extra cash perks. If you go all-in on contracts week 1 (More contracts perks, 100% company score, more contracts and higher photo studio policies on level 10 PAs) you can make your way to first million or so in three months without shooting a single low quality scene. Or any scene, for that matter. You can set it all up weeks 1 an 2, and make enough to pay all the bills before the end of the month.

I did it as a challenge run one day (reach the endgame without ever hiring a prostitute) and it turned out to be really good anyway. Nerfed in v0.84, but still works just fine.

Yeah I totally agree with your playstyle and I would add to get the carwash (30-50k per month) and to avoid recruit for a high price, right click on her, "call to office", speak to her and give her day off (even its illogical cause you didnt already recruit her). In tat way, your relationship is going better then you could more easily recruit her for minimum wage.

But as you said, the best way to play it is not for beginners. You have to read guide or to play some times to understand how to play it. Its illogical and counter intuitive to let unique girls and dont recruit her at the beginning. Or you should at least be able to recruit her when you earn at least 100k, 500k, 1Mo,... In order to avoid havin her but cant pay her.

Contract and lvl of fame is pretty badly design right now. Cause if you pay a contract for at least 12 scenes for ex (3 months), you pay 30k for a girl who would make boy-girl for example, and a boy-girl scene would cost at least 2k per scene, so 2 x 12 = 24k when you paid 30k for her, so you only earn 6k by paying contract !! And because of fame, when you reach lvl 3, rivals would steal you almost all "good" girls. And you cant refuse to reach lvl 2, lvl 3, ... of fame.

Its just too grindy for a management game, specially at the beginning. I could easily understand that you have to be cautious in "mid" game for ex, when having girls on contract and make money. But if you have to play hours and hours to just be able to have enough money in bank to open a company, for me its just badly design !!! And as I said, its a good management game overall, it just needs some changes about wage, price of scene, impact of trends to make money, importance of work orders.

Oh yes, three starting perks are absolutely necessary to start photo contracts day one (or, to be exact, day 7).

Here's the full strat:
Start with following perks:
Start with $50k,
More work contracts,
Reputation lv 2 (the savefile screenshot comes from has Smooth Operator and Models spawn with higher levels on top of that; negative perks are Less agency models, Train thrice as slow, Recruiting males is harder, Can't shoot with models below level 3, Distributor deals are worse, all of which do nothing to hamper photo studio operations)

First week you need to:
hire 2 high level PAs and 1 high level marketer; they won't require any money up-front,
create company, buy photo studio,
recruit as many special characters as possible (with exploits you can recruit all except cops and twins in one day; in fact, I believe it's possible to recruit all 8 day one, but it's not necessary to make the strat work; you only truly need them when you start photo studio operations).

Make sure marketer is working on Company Marketing Score and handling social media for all special characters; Fame greatly increases model level, and this in turn helps with contracts (and greatly slows down retirement).
PAs are Production ("Photo studio money and reputation rewards are higher") and Right Hand ("More work contracts").

All of this has to be done by January 6th, so that as many contracts as possible are generated on the 7th. Between Photoshoots and model contracts you might have ~15 of them, and if you're lucky you'll get one or two that awards over 5k. If not, don't worry, your reputation level will soon go up and the contract rewards will improve, too.
Bonus points if you unlock car wash, too; bit of extra money comes really handy. Try to fill it with special characters early on, and random girls when you start shooting photos.

After all of this is done you need to:
hire photo studio crew,
buy equipment,
fill remaining photo studio slots and car wash with random girls

You'll need a loan to buy the best possible equipment week one - I took it, but I think you could do with worse equipment.
Anyway, by the end of January you'll have 4 rounds of contracts to complete and way more money than needed to pay all your bills - and then it only gets better.

The main issue with this start is that while it generates money relatively quickly and with little management (you only need to complete contracts once per in-game week), it leaves you with very few fans; that'll greatly slow down transition to websites.

Hope it cleared things up. I attached the savefile if you want to check it out (compressed because F95zone does not accept files without extensions x_X); it's day 5, with everything in place to complete first round of contracts.

Oh, and one more thing. There's a small glitch - work contracts tab will not be enabled on the 7th; you can, however, access the contracts from the properties menu; everything will fix itself after you completed the first one.

I broke the game...Like, completly.

Play normal (USA start)... i send the boat (yatch) at east asia and set a party there...when the day came i checked on the main board, agency board in "empire" tab, everything was grey, so i supposed that it's not possible to TP to the boat directly like for others place (mansion etc..)...So i went in the tab again and select the private jet/plane and travel to china (east asia)...sadly i arrive AFTER the party time, well, no problem i suppose, i can still just visit the boat and it's empty...

well... that was a mistake.

Yes, the boat was empty (party is over), i got my GF spawning on the boat (like it's supposed to be, noting wrong), but then i realise that they are NO button to go back... i m definitly stuck on the boat forever. Impossible to go back, impossible to TP somewhere else.

so basically, when the boat go in another country (when we send it somewhere)... DONT go in the boat or you get stuck.

Well, it shouldnt be possible then, if that broke the whole game.

I didn't saved for like 3 hours... i hope the game auto saved the day (in condition that it did not fucking save when i went inside the boat... or i m gonna broke something else...)

That need an emergency fix !

Ok its clear now. But I wonder if you play more than 6 months with this strategy ? Cause I guess while reaching lvl 3 of fame, because rivals steal girls, it could be hard for you no ? Or you make contract with girls (non porn contract ?) so you cant make movies later ???

But its always the same, we all have to find some "exploit" or for other to cheat in order to make enough money to go into end game. What we all said here about this game is : "its a good management with a lot of interesting features, but its just unbalance right now"...

The longest I played like that was 8 months and I got to reputation 5; that was the end of the challenge run for me. It was in v0.83 with better model contracts (and those were really, REALLY exploitable).
I seriously hate the new contract system, partially because it just doesn't pay for itself. Or at least I haven't found a way to make a profit yet.

As for stealing, all special girls (except for the tax auditor lady, for some reason) have Loyal trait and won't be stolen. That early in the game I don't care about other girls. Yes, rivals will sign some of them, but they're mostly easy to replace fillers.

Remember, the casting couch is free (unless you pay advert for publishing)

I start with a female toon, max normal stats (10s?) Stuff her with like 13 traits, 2 important ones are Eternal and Nympho, but the others surely help. 1st I get a laptop, then shoot solo scenes for like 2 weeks, after 1st week make the business but thats it cuz of the tax thing. Sat and Sun I do school and gym. 3rd week get a security guard, maybe shoot some scenes with agency models, especially if they cheap. 4th week get an editor, start going to bar during week days after shoot, sat/sun class/gym. Repeat till stats max, maybe get publishing PA for more popular and more money for publish/ I dont let her publish yet, just get her boost.

Now that you have max int/cha hit the school and maybe mall (mall costs money to fully explore for hopefuls). Get their contacts for casting.
Wake up, shoot a solo or agent scene, do 2-3 casting couches, go out and get more contact numbers, go to bed. You can tell them IF you sign the contract then you will get ALL OF THIS AWESOME, shoot the casting scene, throw away their contact info. Obviously the casting shots are not going to make near as much as full production with porn stars, but at the start it fans the flames. Add a marketing specialist with a mere 100$ publish fee and you can do up to like 3400$ for the.. bottom publish option.. the one where you get the most money, but overtime, and no new fans. Distribute something, forgot the name. At first you may want the fans, after a bit youll want the money. A couple months in and you can slap in a studio with max equipment with decent staff and a handful of carefully curated models from all the castings youve done.

Keep overhead low till you have extra cash enough to pull the trigger on your money making porn machine. Once you start hiring staff and contracting models your bills stack up hard.

So, I've been playing this for a bit, and ran into a few items I could not find (good) answers to.

1) When I hit level 3, about 25% of my models were signed to contracts by rivals in a day. Next day, a couple more. Roughly 10 models in 2 days. Is this common? Are contracts the only way to prevent this?

2) When a model is signed by a rival, if you've assigned a marketer to raise her fame, the marketer continues to do so after they have been signed by the rival. I cannot find a way to reassign the marketer to a new porn star.

3) Does relationship have any impact on if a model will sign stick around (not sign with a rival), or contract cost? For example, if you make someone a girlfriend, do they still sign with a rival? Besides chemistry bonus, what does the relationship stat do?

4) What use does the dungeon have?

1 : If i am correct, the lvl3 reputation "unlock" the rivals. It's quite normal to loose some girls at this stage (mandatory maybe), and the rivals can buy out a LOT of girls if ... they are too good. If most of your girls are still cheap prostitutes with low potential or fame, the rivals will ignore most of your girls.
And yes a contract is the only way to keep your actress (even if there are way to take it back, but it's even more expensive or ... you just wait the end of their contract). I think the financial advisor (but maybe another PA) give you a tip 2 weeks before the buyout if he's / she's good enough.
So the rivals will buy less girls after the initial LVL3 up. You can even kinda counter them by having just too many good girls. But you will loose some yeah.

2 : Yeah unfortunately it's a bug. As i said one of your PA will warn you so you need to stop advertising girl that can be buy out. Or fire some marketers.

3 and 4 i don't know. Relationship is also usefull on a negociation (to convince a girl to do porn OR to convince her to keep doing porn / join your company after the 1000 limit, if you play with this on)
