Yeah, you need to be way more mindful of your expenses now. The gameplay used to to be way more casual back when i started playing. I do start a new game every release the game gets and am frustrated that it gets less and less fun to play. I've just finished work, i came here to have fun:/ And it feels like a chore.

Yeah. Have a good one.
I hear you. I personally enjoy the difficulty but I also completely understand where you're coming from; I didn't come home from work to start another work.

You didn't hear this from me, but I hear the difficulty is being scaled back in the upcoming update. Just remember, you're currently playing a leaked development build.

Is models with a high relationship gaining the Loyal trait already implemented or is that upcoming? If it's not in I'll just cheat to add the trait to a model once I max their relationship but if it's already implemented I'll just let it happen naturally.

I feel it's a tad bit too difficult for female characters to find men to record porn with for a reasonable price. Hell I reckon it should be possible for them to get dudes to do one-ofs for literally free with them.

Like take the random event where a guy solicits you for prostitution, and afterwards you can offer them a job getting paid to have sex. Then you try to cast them, and you offer them several hundred dollars for sex, and they won't go for it.

These are random guys that were approaching a random women hoping she was a whore, and willing to pay them for sex. In real life, recording professional porn as a male actor is pretty miserable, so I understand them wanting to be well compensated, but LOTS of dudes don't know that until after they get through a shoot with a shitty studio, as lots of male porn actors are just random underpaid schmucks who can prove they're std free... or y'now an amateur model's BF or Hookups.

But what I'm trying to say is casting men as a female char just feels very off. You gotta offer so much for these supposedly down bad dudes just to take their dicks out on camera. There is no 'hooker' equivalent, mechanically, for female characters, basically. There should be some way to get cheap dudes cast, or to exchange sex for them being recorded, even if it's one off or with some penalty for balance.

idk if this has been brought up before, or if I'm simply missing something, but searching about it didn't bring much up, so I figured i'd throw in my two cents. Game, like most of 'em, gets a lot of criticism, so sorry to add on, it's a solid and well put together experience overall, especially as a male character. If I remember correctly, ages ago female characters were a little OP compartively, so at least they aren't now. Though I may be thinking of something else.

Probably a repeated question but do I get the buff of the special character if i recruit her as a porn star instead of a staff member?

The v0.9 is not mean to be stable but it is enjoyable to play. I myself liked the game in the early stages and i know its moved a bit away form those days but its still enjoy able. The game play from female MC and male MC is different and i would advise everyone to play both. (if you like the game support it thou).

Pro tip: go to the army base for free male models.

Fem MC still OP because you get free money if you whore yourself.

I don't understand your issue.

It's clearly stated right here: View attachment 3087314
You either have never played the game then or aren't really observant.

The way that line SHOULD read is:
I'm decent in Camera. I'd love working as "something", I'd (this part is not there) also like working as a Lighting Technician. I'd dislike working as a Marketing Specialist, and I'd hate working as "something else" (this part is also not there).

When trying to recruit staff, it's kind of difficult if you don't know what the person would love or hate to do.

Thanks for finally explaining what you wanted thoroughly. It finally makes sense what you were asking for now.

My game also doesn't show all their likes or dislikes for jobs, I don't think it is intentional to show everything until after you hire them. I do agree it would be tons more useful if it did show everything but I mainly hire from the job center anyways because it always shows all likes and dislikes from the start.

??? I explained what I meant "thoroughly" in my first post to mbmb. Mbmb understood what I meant and responded back he didn't see any issues on his end. I then shared a SS to show mbmb what I was seeing. You then decided to respond to the discussion and got confused, but what I stated had always been clear.

If it's working for mbmb it's most likely an oversight that got fixed after the dev version was compiled and all is well, I just decided to share the SS in case there was an issue to be fixed.

There seems to be a misunderstanding here.

But I see that you don't want my help, so I'll just back out here.

Have a good day.

Yes, you're the one that had the misunderstanding. You were trying to help with an issue, which is nice, that you didn't fully understand yourself, which is a bite premature.

You replied:

This lets me know that you're a new, or at least an inexperienced, player.

The way the game has worked for at least for the past several versions, if not since inception, is that when you ask an NPC what their job is, they respond in kind with the full details; without exception. Perhaps the info revealed is contingent on stats like "Charisma", although I doubt that, but with max stats (which I had) you should get the full details. Again, I really don't think the job details are related to any stats; revealed traits may be and initial impression absolutely is, among other things. Point is, things changed from how they were. This let me know that either...

A. Gameplay has changed. Which is entirely possible, but I doubt this was changed.
B. It's a bug.
C. Based on mbmb's comments, it's an oversight that has already been fixed.

Nothing you provided helped me get to that conclusion. You could have, for example, provided your own SS that showed the dialogue working as intended, like mbmb said. This would've made clear that either it's a bug that's affecting specific circumstances, or, perhaps it's something on my end. But since you're new to the game, or so it seems, you didn't really have much to offer to the situation besides enthusiasm. Which is nice, but not necessarily helpful. So in the future, maybe you should understand the specifics of what you're trying to help before you jump out there and try to help.

You have a good day, or night, as well!

My SS was just a me circling content in your SS, trying to show that the things you were asking for were already there. It wasn't until you clarified that it was missing the other likes and dislikes (love and hate) that I understood what you meant. I'm running v0.9dev1.6, the lasted build, and it still shows the same as your SS.

In a prior dev build, the likes and dislikes were indeed missing until mbmb patched it around dev1.4

Also I believe revealing their stats and interest was based on MC's INT, this may have changed and I need to review it.

Another note, I'm not going to do a cock measuring contest on whom has more experience in PE, which you're so intent on doing for whatever reason.

Since your SS that you provided is the same as in our game, I'm just going to say "working as intended" then.

*Edit* Also to be fair, I don't do enough street recruitment for staff since I consider job center to be superior.

Disregard. It doesn't matter what I say anymore. You have already come to your conclusions. I had trouble understanding what your initial issue was and so I asked. But I shouldn't help clarify your issue so that mbmb fully understands it and fixes it. It's unwanted and unnecessary and I apologize.

It's not about me coming to "conclusions" or any "cock measuring contest", I simply responded to your posts.

I understood what your SS was. I was pointing out my SS was in reference to a prior post and needed no further clarification in conjunction to said post. Had you seen that post you wouldn't have been confused, but you jumped into a conversation asking for information that had already been given a few posts prior.

I don't know when the likes/dislikes was added in but if you say "x". Cool, I'll take your word for it. The last version was .84 (I think) and my comment on changes were in reference to such as it was the last build. What you see in your game SHOULD show what my SS does because the SS is of the current build. That makes sense. If your game is also not showing the info mines isn't, it lends me to believe that it was a fixed oversight/bug like I thought, since mbmb doesn't have the same issue.

But it's clearly not working as intended, the actual text doesn't even look grammatically correct.
"I'm decent in Camera.also like working as a Lighting Technician." If that was worded as intended, it should at the very least be:
"I'm decent in Camera. I'd also like working as a Lighting Technician." However as it, it looks like the first half of that sentence is simply cut off.
You say you're pretty sure it's working as intended, I'm going to say, doubtful.

Street recruiting, while a hassle, is vital for me since I only hire female employees. I want staff that is both skilled at and loves the job they're hired to do. It would take forever for me to fill out staff relying solely on the job agency.

You seem to be taking this shit personally, as evident by the strikethroughs. But I have no malice and as I said earlier, I don't care to measure your Johnson either. Honestly, had you done what people constantly tell folk to do around here, check a few posts/pages back, you'd have known exactly what I was talking about without the misunderstanding. All good though, again, no malice.

I agree that the grammar is bad.

However, you have a habit of making incorrect assumptions.

I think it was more than fair to ask you to clarify your issue in an attempt to understand what the problem was but you sort of took offense to it. I was on your side and wanted to see this issue fixed. But then you brushed me aside and declared me a new player.

Judging from your exchange with mbmb and what I'm seeing from my end in the current build, your issue has not been addressed at all. My attempts to help you, have quite frankly, been thrown back in my face.

So now, I will argue against showing all likes and dislikes during the dialogue phase. Afterall, it's unfair since recruiting models off the street involves RNG and many unknown factors until after the recruitment phase, it should be the same for staff street recruitment. For the sake of balance and to elevate the importance of the job center, which staff candidates would normally have something akin to a resume/linkedin/profile that details all their experiences and job preferences.

It's a true shame because we kind of wanted the same thing. I had long advocated for a refresh button at the job center so that paying a price of $5000 would renew the list of staff candidates to new candidates because I also only hire female workers.
