So 0.73a seems to be a good improvement on the previous release, but there are some minor kinks and some disturbing code featrures:

a) Actors Filter
Actors filter options are always welcome, but if you offer one-click-filters, do code them like they are meant to work: Every option that is mutually exclusive to another should deactivate those other options. So if I filter BigTits, SmallTits should be deactivated automatically. It's a small code change but with a remarkable uplift on UI progamming and user experience.

b) RedrawUI Calls
Further UI coding should be a redrawUI call after you "changed" a girl (surgery, cosmetics, etc.) to have a current list. Including those 4-9 lines should be no problem for you guys, or should it?

c) If In Rome...
The Beach Girl looses her legendary multicolored hair after you just up her appearance. It is quite an disturbing fact that a simple catch code for her was not implemented to preserve or add this hair style even in 0.73a. Why going to the beach anyways, if that iconic hair gets wasted after offering a job?

d) Stealing Events
Girls stealing your cash is quite annoying, but saving for a boat and pushing every penny in that direction shoud not mean a girl can steal 20k+ just because you do some savings. Even as a high roller whale you would not have that much cash in your wallet. So do lower the % of theft chance overall and/or a max the theft to 25k. Falling back a week is ok, but for a game without money cheats it just hits too hard imho.

e) Outfits
In the versions before it was possible to disable parts of the outfits. In 0.73a this is no more possible since the changes done only show the full outfit on the actors/staff tab. Also the standard pregnancy outfit still overrides my choices. I guess you just have to update your Paperdolls, right? So I do not expect a fully fledged pregancy wardrobe in 0.7b/c/d, but maybe on 0.8? It is a chunk of work, but when I decided my favorite actress wears a bikini without top, why she wears a dress while being pregnant...? Go eye candy ^^

Final Words
You devs surprised me with some nice features like filters and more eye candy, but: Even if your patreons demand more, do not loose bugs and requests dating back months out of your sight. Having not a current overview is a major flaw ever since and demands the user to click more than double times than necessary. But I am sure you are capable of doing your coding and graphics on time.

Bit of a dumb question, but how do you buy stuff for your studio, and how do you upgrade said studio? The buy button's still blurred out, even after the tutorial.

2 Most unique NPCs can be turned into either pornstars or staffers. Choose wisely. (You can sleep with them afterwards freely if they work for you as staffers but they do not shoot movies.)

3 No. Specifically not in the way you imagine (as in promotions to staff positions or PAs). Future plans include company positions and promotions.

4 No, but some story segments take place in the park and at the jewelry store, which is located in the mall.

you should be able to buy Cameras and Lights from day 1 (after the tutorial)... but only after haveing a studio does it seem to take any effect.

On the weekends, right? Because I've done the three cosplayers' Q&A sessions*, and I'm now loading/reloading the game on a Sunday to look for her at the hotel (Day 27). Do I find her in the hotel lobby or the con room? Or does she appear on non-weekends?

*Also, could you lower the threshold for getting the cosplayers' scenes? I know they might be easy as pie for you youngins, but my codgery old ass pretty much had to guess most of them. Maybe have it so we only need to answer 3/5 questions or something?

A little question about personal assistant ! with the role "talent search" i see that every week on tuesday morning i get 2 mail with girl but it look like when you select category focus for example "teen" , once you get out of the dashboard and go to the city it reset at category focus "all" i guess there is a problem somewhere ? or i'm missing something to keep the selected category to work ? btw isn't 2 girls/week on talent search with a lvl 10 personal assistant a bit too low ?

I don't understand how auto production works. I have 19 girls, all with auto production enabled (all studios, all types of scenes; i.e. the default values), with 5 of them having their last shot and published scenes values of more than 14 days. My auto production settings for studio 1 are

Type Focus : Solo
Category focus : All
Default Scene Title: Auto

Studios 2 and 3 are set to Type Focus of 'None' (they don't have directors or any equipment).

Scenes planned in advance : 1
Min Actor Happiness : 0
Min 'popularity penalty' days left: 14
Prioritize actors with best stats : off
Cast actors in line with global trends : off (it is disabled since I don't have a PA working on trends).

Auto production created 2 scenes, both Solo (as expected), but the girls chosen had their last published scenes age of 4 and 3 days ago.

I let it run for a number of days, it did pick some of the older ones on subsequent days, but about 10 days later, it went back to picking girls who were recently published, ignoring the girls who haven't been published for 20+ days.

I expected it to pick the girls with last published scenes age of 14 days or more and not to scheduled anyone whose last published age was less than 14. Am I doing something wrong or misunderstanding how it is supposed to work?

Is there a good recommended progression path for the game if I want to attempt without cheats (female protagonist)? It seems to me there are so many different options for you that it can be very easy to sink into a "too much overhead not enough profit" trap.

@moemi02 The talent search function allows you to have a chance to access a pool of very high end NPCs. Just as for every 10000 pornographic models there is only one Lisa Ann, so does the same apply in game. Make it more rare and the function becomes useless. Make it more common and the function becomes trivial. There isn't a clear middle ground.

@x7xas4UprEta That is the way it's supposed to work yes. We're taking a look in the code because it is possible this behavior happens due to some typographical error or something missing from the code.

@Necronlord2 They are not hireable and probably won't be.

@Dehlaz Personally I like to focus on specific skill sets and go with them. You can try recruiting some low-mid tier npcs at start with ok stats and slowly raise their stats. I'm sure other people in this thread have better strategies :FeelsGoodMan:.
