im having a wierd bug, when i win a battle i see a window for like half a sec that i assume is the victory summary or something but its like its fast forwarding through it

Hmm...based on the mechanics i guess its kinda pointless to ask my usual lesbian question and since i dont want to get fucked and find futas disgusting it leaves me with the male protagonist and an other question: Can i keep them and grow an army/harem or do i need to sell them? i also read about the brothel thing but dont see any prositution tag, is it my choice to whore them out or is it unavoidable?
Yes, you can breed your own little army and/or harem. It's actually the core mechanic to create OP units in the long run. You don't need the MC for that either, so feel free to play whichever of the 3 options you have. You control Nila's gender (female/futa) through her own capacities, same for Siena (you have to work a bit for it but she's pure female by default), Viridion is 100% male all the way.
Prostitution is 100% optional, it's one of the easiest source of money in the game though.
As for the sexy content in general, this game has no "porn" as long as you desactivate the "animated popups" (i think they're called something like that in the options menu), only the still images of the characters, if you're scared of finding something you don't like.
Okay, so there's a lot here, and the answer is kinda complicated. And I'm half drunk and love rambling, so buckle in.
I think I'll start by saying that this is a game where the game play and mechanics seem to have come first, and they built porn around it. So actively avoiding content, which is absolutely possible, will affect the game both mechanically and how you can play.
There's a female, herm, and male character. So you could stick to only the female character if you'd like. And, if you're careful, you could realistically play the game only going for lesbian sex scenes. But it might be rather tricky, and there's no way to outright turn off all herm/straight prompts. So you'll absolutely run into characters and scenes involving at least one herm character even if you're trying to avoid it. You'll still run into the unique character scenes involving male/herm characters even if you're focused on a lesbian only play through. And the tavern and world will still have male and herm characters present. You'd just have to choose to avoid them.
Basically what I'm saying is that you could absolutely play a female character and build an all female army and harem, but you'll still also be presented with the rest of the content. You'll just have to skip it.
There are also a couple unique characters who are herm, but you likely wouldn't immediately realize it. If that's something that'd annoying you, I don't think there's any way to avoid it. But you'll know what you're getting into before you get to a sex scene in every case I can think of on the top of my head.
That said, there's one huge problem with trying to go specifically lesbian only; the ritual ability for the female character isn't available when interacting with female characters. Ritual is how you gain skill points, and primarily drives your character's progression. That wouldn't be an issue with the male or herm characters for various reasons, but it would be a serious limitation for her. You'd almost 100% have to use the unlockables file from the OP, and you'd want to play as the ascendant or ascended or whatever. Otherwise you'll lose 90% of the characters progression.
You can absolutely still play while ignoring the character progression, but I wouldn't enjoy it as much. That's just me though. This holds true if playing Evo and sticking to female only as well, and Evo's my favorite to play.
As for the brothel, it exists in game as a means of making money. You basically stick characters you control into a room at the brothel and they earn a daily income. You don't really see or interact with what those characters are doing, it just kind of happens passively. You won't have any fine control over who they have sex with or what happens, but you also won't see anything about those interactions.
And you don't *need* to use the brothel. But you're going to find the game much harder if you don't. One of the first big mechanical hurdles in the game is maintaining an income and basically everyone in this thread will tell you that the brothel is how you do it. Characters under your control get paid a small amount, and you need to provide food for them which adds another baseline expense based on how many characters you have in your control. But if you're just looking to free play and not worried about grinding out unlocks and challenge ranks, you could absolutely use farming, selling items, and fighting in the arena for money. You'll just me much more limited on how many character you can support without that passive income.
If you really want to avoid the brothel entirely, you absolutely could.
With all that said, I'd recommend trying this more to have fun, and not to seriously try and win or grind out challenge ranks/unlocks. Those are some hard mechanical limitations, and you'll find it almost impossible to complete your own unlockables file while sticking to them.
That said, with the unlockables file, it could be a fun challenge run.

I created a modern unlockable just a few posts ago. Unlocks all, current. Confirmed working on Linux, one user says works on Windows too.
Nice, that'd be the one to use then. Thanks for the hard work, I'm not even close to finishing mine lol

I programmatically generate it. Takes less than a minute. If I was inclined (I'm super lazy to load up Windows) I could write a tool to automate the process in the future. Could just simply load the Assembly and enumerate the enums and automate. Meh. What I do for the Linux users is patch it, so you can cheat without being marked a cheater, and it re-enables achievements while unmarking cheated, then I use all unlock cheats on-top of the above method to unlock everything. Then I just upload the Unlockables. Takes about a minute to manually make that patch and then a minute to run, unlock all, exit. Can be automated, might do it. Lazy these days.

So, for the new update, instead of Kitsune spam, I still go with the Druid and uses the Seedling Dragon spam. But I believe Kitsune's ability can be transported to other Magic focused race with Fusion
Yes, you just need a "catalyst" trait on either of the characters. Looking back up the topic, you can also evolve skills through fusing it twice (not sure) or breeding characters with the same evolvable skills (waterbolt/waterfall/tsunami, spark/chain lightning/lightning storm, fireball/meteor/meteor swarm...). there's a list on the wiki.
Also with the restriction on elite units now... yeah, seedling dragons OP again, lol.
But the Dragons are now only Firedragons. Normal Dragons from Dragonpuppies are gone ?
You should be able to evolve a fire spirit>dragonewt>fire dragon. Or capture dragonewts in a mountain tile event ambush (bring your capture nets). Or capture the King's dragons when you fight him (yes you can, bring a healing net and turn the fight around, lol).
Unless that has changed in 0.16.X, i haven't played yet; i'm waiting for the first couple of corrective patches to get back to it since only the unlockables file is compatible between versions.
That's what I was working on as well. I'm trying to figure out which unresticted species has the best magic scaling to go with it right now. Anyone know the answer so I can be lazy? My guess is one of the special species, but I've been avoiding trying all them yet.
I'm actually surprised that the seedling dragon didn't get restricted as well.
The Seer (Lavagirl + Lymean) is the strongest magically speaking unless my memory is playing trick on me. It has even better magic scaling than Kitsune I believe, but Kitsune spam was easier for me
Lymean+Tanid has 2.0 base MAG scaling, the highest possible in the game. You can get them by fighting hives and seducing them if you don't play as Siena.
Btw, you can launch back to back fights by staying on the hive tile if you don't destroy it, so you can farm whatever species combo you fancy
With the new update is there a way to copy my progress, will it do itself automatically or...?
in PortalsOfPhereon_Data > saveData, copy the unlockables.sav from your current verion to the new verion of the game.
If the folder "saveData" doesn't exist yet, launch the game once or create the folder yourself.
Ongoing saved games are not compatible between versions, though.

The correct name is "saveData". Case-sensitivity matters on non-Lamedows systems.
