man, having to drop inventory when you cant move is a pain, you have to click one by one, gets pretty darn annoying when you have to drop 10k cash just to move again.

how do I remove girls from my party and assign them to other things?
you click on the flower (its an x button) on each of their profile picture (top right corner of their picture) when you click on home

SHIFT-clicking an arrow moves 10, and CTRL-clicking an arrow moves 100.

still a lot of clicking, an input field would completely solve that.
Yes, the issue could be fixed easily and elegantly that way. Perhaps someone will be kind enough to suggest it to the dev?

I don't really see a need for that. The ability to add ten or a hundred of anything means you can handle whatever you need in three or so clicks.

That said, I rarely use materials to build roads or anything in the overworlds. I don't really see the point.
If you weren't limited to three days, or if there was a reason for keeping a world around, then I could see why you might spend time on construction, but I typically only visit a world once or twice before ditching it and going to another one.

I never bother with any girls who aren't standard size either. A gargantuan portal on a decent world could be fun to play around with, but 90% of the time large girls can't actually get into battle to help you, so all their size does is make it harder to breed them.

I guess i could try to breed a gargantuan dragon-girl or something as a self-imposed challenge?

Plenty of questionable UI and other design choices in this one. For one example, look at the "breeding form" for the player, which is a detailed character customization mechanic that does absolutely nothing in the game as it is. Lots of work went into that, and it doesn't do anything except sit there. Admittedly, that is more or less what character customization is about, but I'd rather have seen more variant images on random NPCs before customization of the PC that shows up in one place. It does show that the artist has ideas about how to add variants for their images, which is promising to see.

Really, the art is first rate, and there is something appealing about the hybridization mechanics--it's kinda like Slave Matrix in that way, where you get interested in seeing what the different combinations will look like. Of course, the genetics in PoP are (for appearance at least) necessarily far simpler. You couldn't reasonably combine the sort of procedural genetics present in the game with hand-drawn art of any reasonable quality without the artist being worked literally to death. But then that number for tit size disagrees completely with the art for the character, or something, and a lot of that appeal goes out the window. More variations on the art for characters would go a long way to improving the interest of the breeding aspect of the game--but artist time costs money, and there's the rest of the game they're trying to develop.

Not to say the rest of the game is going in a good direction. Why are we making characters move even slower across slime? It's already hard to move over and shows up all over the place. And the combat is slow enough.

Really, the portals theme has things going for it. It already shows its potential. But this game seriously needs a "squad" feature so that you don't have to manually re-form your team, re-select resources, and re-equip everyone every time you want to explore a world. It'd also help in that you could have a team for watery portal entrances, too-small portal entrances, portals where you need flying, portals where your time will expire after three moves if you don't have swimming characters, etc. etc. There's nothing like forming a squad you want to use because you want to work on a character for a quest, only to find that the portals you have available you can't actually get into, or that one stabilized portal you've explored to death.

The actual gameplay of the game is extraordinarily burdensome, and there is really nothing that can be done in-game to lighten it--it seems to be an organic result of the way the portal worlds and character teams are set up. Based on some of the decisions made by the dev, it appears that at least some of this burden is intentional. I guess it's a way of making the game proceed at a certain, very deliberate pace: limited-time portal expeditions, with a punishment if you go over time; portals that don't kick you out when they run out of time, but instead silently prevent you from taking your NPCs and stuff with you when you are ready to leave--that sort of thing. Helping the player avoid bad choices is obviously not this dev's priority: you can sell or "library" a custom NPC, for instance. The character still does their other game functions, you just can't get them in your party again. Things like that, I guess, could be coming down the pike, but there's enough of that freedom to make bad choices in the game that the dev just doesn't seem interested in helping the player stay out of those situations. I'm trying to think of a succinct way of describing the game's design philosophy, and "uncompromising and strict" is the only way I can think to put it.

I understand we're still in the early stages with this one, and that balance and UI improvements and so on are not usually first on a dev's list of things to do. Frankly there's enough to like about this game to make playing it worthwhile, but unfortunately not many of those things are the actual gameplay. Frankly, I'd be happy if they just broke off the breeding part of the game and made a Slave Matrix knockoff, even without the touching/training part of that game.

I kinda like the game, lot of species, lot of breeding, great art and so but the I ve found the game pretty difficult... First quest from the king to explore the portal but everyone here got like 30HP or more against my fifteen. I got no skills, neither do my followers and once they catch us, I die in like 3 hits....
also, the nessessity to do quests for king is really annoying. I would have enjoyed this game so much without that, just free explore, breeding, experimenting... :(

I liek the futa aspect and the artwork is fantastic, but there are things that make the game almost UNPLAYABLE for me...
1. The daily upkeep is a KILLER. Too much gold going out of my pocket... Like, how am I supposed to do both portals and brothels at once?
2. The portals get dramatically more DIFFICULT as the level of the portal goes up.
3. The time limit (duration of the run) completely ELIMINATES the possibility of players just wanting to casually play the game and enjoy the free sandbox experience.
Look, I get it developer. You wanted to create a game for the sake of gameplay that's plenty challenging...
But if the gameplay is TOO HARD because it PUNISHES people who are bad at managing resources.
Is there an option to get rid of daily upkeeps like the food and gold consumption???

Frankly, since it's just a porn game, I don't feel bad about relentlessly cheating to deal with mechanics that I don't like. Enormous amounts of money seems to be the most useful one: you don't have to haul gold back through portals (it can get heavy), don't have to worry about food (you'll buy more at the end of the day and taking it with you on portal trips doesn't seem too critical), and the upkeep grind mostly goes away. There is still the quest grind in the background, though.

You can balance out the food upkeep by building farms from that upgrade/research button on the main screen. It's about the only reliable source of food I can think of, but you can build as many as you want. It just requires a significant investment of resources to build once you start needing a lot of food.

I think gold upkeep skyrockets mostly when you have more characters than your home can support. There is a limited number of expansions for the number of characters you can keep. Brothel and farm-milking income offset some upkeep, but your characters have to rest from those tasks from time to time. The rest of it, I guess, just comes from portal exploration and maybe arena victories. There really isn't a source of money that doesn't require some level of micromanaging, either by fighting battles or swapping around characters that need to rest. I find it critical to name characters that are supposed to swap back into the brothel or farm, because otherwise they vanish in the resting-character list.

Since I do cheat so extensively to get around the onerous parts of the game, I don't have much in the way of helpful advice beyond that basic stuff.

Taking food through the portal is good for camping to heal, other than that, it's not neccessery.
As for king-quests... exploring is easy ebcause you can just flee from battle, but yeah I very quickly set my 'days left' on kingquest to 999 and just ignored them.

IIRC there's a sandbox mode that does that for you, in the latest update? Dunno.

how did you managed that? (I mean the number of days for the king's quest)

Does anyone know where we can submit bugs for the Dev? The maxLust upgrade for the seduction tree for the prince isn't working properly, if you take it the maxLust stat goes up correctly but it goes back to it's original pre-upgrade value if you save after choosing the upgrade and then load that save.

It's possible this is happening too with other stats and I haven't noticed yet.

You can comment on some of his patreon posts, even without being a patron. I submit bugs there.

Sorry I didn't clarify. Wyeh you start a new game, go to
Difficulty -->
Game Length -->
Click left a couple times to make the time limit unlimited (except you still fail the King's Quests and you still have to pay the Daily Food Upkeeps???)

So not really "Free" to Play
