Well, while we are still waiting for patch to fix bugs, I can tell there's plenty of things that I am glad were noticed, but sadly gave new bugs in place;
The insect guard is currently bugged; you can hire but you cannot properly use due to bugged interactions, which is an issue that should be fixed, since it is the only way besides artifact portals to reduce rival power, while being a way to make legendary items once that's is off.
Fire dragon girls still have bugged art which is related to a unique variant of them, having misplaced clothing when gender other than female is used.
The fire tail whip skill, used by fire snake spirit is bugged if you use it on empty space with adjacent enemies, the character will not attack adjacent targets as you would think, just uses mana and action point and nothing happens.
Martyr skill, due to fact that characters that have it are much more likely to get it, only affects your team if used by the enemy, which means its a pure benefit if a enemy character with that skill ends up using it.
The guardian species can still sacrifice NPCs, which removes them as usable characters for the reminder of the game. And when playing as one, you won't get genes, only traits.
Right, forgot to talk about actual things:
The elite soldiers no longer give out insect queens, preventing easy level 20 characters, but you can still get insect hybrids, though they will require energy transfer to work, nor offer decent chance at getting the result due to lower stability, though now it encourages getting tavern ranks instead to get high level characters. You can still use the unique robot for rituals/breeding after upgrading it to level 20, not counting the king's potions you can use on it beforehand, which it will keep the 5 extra levels if you so did.
Fast setting makes using hatcher trait desirable, due to fact you can achieve 100% progress eggs without relying on a unique robot by using base growth upgrades and quick hatcher trait, which with 50% bonus to base growth can easily hit 100%, allowing to mass hatch eggs without a day even passing or relying on consuming/boosting upgrade.
The artifact/story portals are easier due to fact you have to pass less spaces, which is a plus, same applies to essence portals, which I think are more limited due to shorter time frame I guess.
The alternative character choice in greenskin world is...not as valuable compared to normal one, due to fact you get a character with a interesting way of fighting by consuming magic charges to do things, a easy way to fix injuries using iron or mythril at cost of morale(which requires fighting bosses to offset the penalty, nor mythril requirement, that is hard to amass without robots trait), and a +1 to vision passive, but you will not get the glove, a powerful item, nor the special light spirit evolution, which massively helps in essence portals due to fact its only thing besides the starter seal with specific options to possess lucky trait. If only alternative option was just as good for different reasons to be comparable.
Rebirth trait, which is a reward for a neutral run, is similar to super hybrid item, which turns the character into a level 20 with genes and traits reapplied, while setting genes to what your current character's highest, so you can turn a weak level 5 into a powerful level 20 that way, as long as you have strongest characters to begin with. Takes a while before you can use it to maximum, but comes in handy like divine favors.
Still waiting when extra challenges will appear beyond existing 10 ones, as well improvements and neutral runs having unique stories of their own, for unique characters of course. Time to wait and do my chores of high importance...Including life and death ones that I am stuck in.
