A bit sad my boy Viridion still didn't get any more personality/story relevancy.
He seems way less fleshed out as a character than the other two.
Well considering in the true ending, his teacher plays a very important role in comparison to the other two Gods.

They killed each other lol, only Druid's teacher was right

There's all of the stuff with his father and his childhood friend too. It ain't much but the game is pretty light on story and dialogue in the first place, so...

Viridion's teacher descended on the world thousands of years ago > mind control the population to control it > meet Viridion's family > taught Viridion and childhood friends magic > fall in love with Viridion's mom > Viridion's mom became sick > The Druid's master perform blood magic trying to save her sacrificing a childhood friends > fail, the magic went to king instead > Evolution and Creation go but destroying the world > Viridion convince his father to go to the portal > the King favor Viridion's other childhood friends who have magic > it's revealed that Viridion and all his childhood friends were mind wiped at some point

Oh hey, I was wrong earlier. You can actually save Sienna at 100% corruption

So... yeah... you don't need to worry about corruption at all? no idea.

Edit: Also, is there a list of all the unlockable stuff and their requirements anywhere? I don't see one on the wiki, and I didn't see one in the thread. I restarted on a fresh unlock file since I was originally using the one with everything unlocked. All the traits that you can unlock are pretty straightforward, but fuck if I know all the jobs and MC unlocks.

Do I need to start from zero every time I unlock a new challenge rank (to work towards Ascended)? 11 cycles would mean ALOT of effort [to not burn out].

I mean I'm doing it while I have some boring work to do, playing Druid in every challenge on Very Short and just rushing 3 Seedling Dragons and fuse them with lvl 20 spirits. Does the job on very short at least (currently on challenge 3)
But yeah it does take time

But the more I recruit, the more it increases!!!

Ways to make money
1. Arena
2. Submit Hybrid Species to the library(Once per hybrid)(Warning this removes them, but you get $20 Daily Income for each submission)
3. Sell things from the craft menu (Alt+Click items to sell them)
4. Completing Tavern Quest
5. Put girls in the brothel
6. Completing king quest
7. Completing Portals and Claiming the Rewards

The only good ones I had are the arena, portal / claim reward and the craft selling thing.
The tax goes into a high spike when I recruit others so sending them to the brothel pretty much doesn't give me anything...

The "tax" isn't dependant on how many units your have. the "tax" modifier (+15% difficulty at game start) costs 100+20/day gold, meaning 260 gold on day 8 and 700 gold on day 30.

What costs you daily money from units is:
-their salary
-food costs if your stockpile is empty. you'd better farm some food/get some people hunting, because you really, really don't wanna pay 200 gold per food unit your lack each day. THAT is a money-sink.
-potions on the farm if you're using any.

Wait, I thought a character can use the farm for daily food? or maybe the daily food ain't enough.
Also, they said the market can heal injured characters but I haven't found an option to look for a healer there.

Recruit for high beauty stat, and then actually train them before you put them into the brothel. It should always be a profit to have characters in a room. Just make sure you're actually putting them in a room, and that they have stamina.

If you're not playing the druid, you should also be performing as well. Near the end of my last game I was making 20000 coins per show. Right now, on day four, I'm making about 2k-3k.

Food costs are where recruiting gets annoying, but if you're doing the easy tavern quests you'll usually be getting enough food that you avoid the worst of it.

High beauty stat, train 'em?
Unfortunately I am trying the druid first.
I have 0 idea on food costs and I dunno how to complete tavern tasks like that "5+ magic" thingie.

Depends on what the quest for "5+ magic" is. I think it shows you if they want a character with magic gene 5 or above (5+) or a character with 5 magic stat (also important tavern tasks that are jobs just take some exhaustion from that character, breeding partner take that character from your roster!). I don't know the exact numbers on food costs, but I usually put characters that are idle (so not in my party, not in the brothel and not breeding) into fishing or onto the farm to well... farm! Also if you're struggling with food as the druid in the early game you can create some with 5 exhaustion (not really the greatest way to spend exhaustion, but hey early game it does the trick)

EDIT: Also the previous commenter said something about performing and making ridiculous amounts of money off of it. I've never done it even as evolution or creation and did well/ok with money so from what I can piece together it's a "win more" option

Hey guys, have you ever wondered how cheesing fusing mechanics would look like?

No regrets investing about an hour to create this monstrosity that I can't bring to most portals. Totally worth it. XD
(I'm working on cheesing five godform with perfect genes, 10 traits and timestop in for my NG+, quite a savage challenge to be honest)

How do you get that many traits through fusing? I've only ever managed to get six, four from using and two from adapting.

Well... That's the easy part actually, in this case I started with fusing focus, so you get to choose one more trait when fusing. You get TransferableAmountFromA = (TotalAmountOfA/2)_rounddown+1_IfFocus. Like if your creature has 7 traits, normally you'd transfer just 3 traits, with fusing focus you get 4 (from each side).

I used adapted tentacles with mutation (for faster filler gains) and catalyst (required for tentacle/seedling fusing) to get two final creatures, one seedling dragon (or desired recessive species of your choice) with catalyst and 6 traits in total (at least 4 wanted) and a tentacle with 10 traits (at least 6 wanted traits), and this one had seedling dragon recessive species while fusing (just to be sure...).

There is some inconsistences I can't figure out, sometimes the subspecies from the creature on the left has dominance if they are in the same tier, but sometimes the tentacles have complete dominance and wipe out their partner species. Not to mention that tentacles gain gender after fusing which might be related somehow.

Even without the focus. You can also spam filler traits with mutagen potions, so if you have something with 5 traits you want already, you can fill it up to 10 (cap) and transfer to the next creature. (You risk getting the bloodline trait tho, so I recommend save before, just in case)

Jeez... Who would thought that basic genetics from elementary school would turn me into a expert in a underground porn game? Finally it became useful for something. o.o XD

Ahh gotchya. Okay that makes sense. I thought fusing would only ever pass on the two traits I selected, I didn't realize it'd actually pass on more if you had more than four traits to begin with.

That's the kind of tactic i was referencing when i talked about "trait banks". I do that with breedable spirits directly though, so i don't need catalyst, and i cut off mutagen when i can at the end. That leaves me with two identical spirits with 9 desirable traits for 1 type of units, that can breed giving me an endless supply of them for fusing onto new units.

And because they're spirits, the egg stability and speed are fine, no need to bother with tanid eggs (what a chore).

I'm going to be honest, a lot of the advice I read when I first starting out went over my head and I only really picked up parts of it. Like, the whole trait bank just wooshed right past me. But I did take away how to use spirits to get 80% of the way there.

It wasn't until my last couple games that I really got the spirit boosting for genes and levels down correctly. Without understanding how to do that part correctly, trait stacking past the obvious two didn't seem like it would save me. Now that I'm pushing challenge ranks, this is way more important :D
