To be fair, G28 did say in a day or two and it has been almost a week now. I know it gets annoying seeing people ask here and the other thread, but this time I think it's a fair question.
Usually a good idea to add a rough week onto the release estimates for this game. G28 keeps busy and I think sometimes he promises timing because people have been asking and he knows that they are eager. I think the last two updates the full patch has come out 7 days ish after the planned date, but he puts out the partial patch to tide people over which is more considerate than most devs lol
It is going to be longer before it's ready. I thought I'd have it done quickly but this is one of many projects that I'm working on and it's simply not ready yet. If I estimate that something is going to be done, and then it's not, there is literally nothing that panicking will do to make it go faster. If it's not done, it's not done.
Will the full release be ready by the end of this week? Maybe. Maybe not. I've already shared everything that's currently done for PoW in the thread, so there's no reason to act like an entitled asshole while you wait for more free content from me.

sorry G i didn't mean to be rude. I wasn't criticizing your release schedule or missing your estimated windows. I was just trying to offer an explanation for those checking in as to why releases often don't match your estimations: you're busy. I do genuinely appreciate you releasing files early to tide people over, it is considerate and more than any dev is obligated to do. I'm sorry if I came across as entitled or inconsiderate in how I tried to communicate that.

No it isnt a fair question, not even if you are a Boomer like me. When things where not electronic and didnt provide simple tools to trace if something updates or not, one would still be patient and act less entitled when something was/is free - that comes with the territory of it being free!
Anyone not born in the dark times before the internet (and even those should basically know this) can use the inbuild features like notifications or even create their own little script to check, if something that important has been changed/updated, when ones wants to know. This kind of behaviour is pretty much like the kids on the backseat of a car, asking constantly when one arrives without actually having any concept of time. And not even they are excused to behave like that for more than maybe once or twice, before an adult gets itchy and looses it's temper. Devs getting fed up with this kind of behaviour tend to disappear and spend their time with more rewarding things

An update is never late, nor is it early, it releases precisely when it means to! Go find something else to play, give College Daze a try or a replay, give some real porn a shot, or have fun of another kind. Plenty on here to enjoy. (Also, seriously, no point pestering these game makers by Ing them on these forums. Patience is your best friend.)

He updated the game on mopoga.com on 18th Sept. I never pester dev or anyone. I asked here because it's been nearly 10 days since then. Normally I don't ask or pester for updates, I only ask when there are some errors or bugs or need some help. So don't tell me what to do or not to do.

You may not see it as pestering but the dev clearly does, sure 1 person asking once isn't pestering but 100 or so people asking 'only' once is overwhelmingly negative. Just scroll up and you'll see how fed up the dev is, seriously the fact that you are asking on the same page number is just plain rude.
If you want real time updates, I would recommend becoming a patron, but seeing as you don't like being told what to do, I'll make it easy for you. Here is a screenshot of the most recent Patreon post that anyone, even us freeloaders can see:
As you can clearly see it says "there's still a bit of work to do..." and the post was updated just yesterday. Meaning it will be ready when it's ready and asking the dev does not help. He will inform everyone either when he is confident to give a release date or drop the finished update. All we can do is wait patiently, support him financially, or give critical feedback like bug reporting, anything else is pestering.

I didn't meant to be rude. I understand that the dev was upset because of people asking for update but I thought that was before the release of the v.067a on mopoga.com and I was waiting for the download link to be updated here. Since it was like 10 days, I thought to ask the dev about it. But as we can see from the patreon ss, the post is about v067b. So I can assume that the work is still in progress, so it's good to wait for more time. I just asked for the download link because I prefer to play games available here in offline rather then online. I can wait for more time just fine. Peace

I dont get why this is such a big issue for so many people. If one wants near real time updates, simply read up on RSS and create your own feed for the link to the first post here.
Just because smartphones use a lot of push notifications in apps doesnt mean one cant get the same with some basic searching and brain works for almost every webpage there is. People are not mad if something is reasonable but with modern times etc this should be the bare minimum for people that expect free stuff. Hell there are even websites that provide simple services where you dont even have to read and think but just create your own RSS feed by adding a URL.
as you all can see, i never really post anything, but this deserves to be said... i think this is a great community that overall supports the developers thru feedback or patronage... we all just have to be happy that they are willing to release game here for free at all and let those of us that dont pay to play still play
that said... G28 is one of the best developers here. G28 actively engages with all of us and tries to be respectful (i havent read the entire thread to see if everything he has written is up to what i have seen and read but i have seen what other people have written and it is entirely out of line for someone to have to deal with when theyre providing a service for you) even when by all rights he should be telling some people to go fuck a duck
ulimately G28 will put out the update when he is happy with it and has it tested for bugs and everything else... until then be happy with what you do have from him and be happy with any updates that he gives you concerning the release and dont criticize for being "late"... i'd rather it be late and a superior product than on time and a piece of shit thats buggy and unplayable
keep up the good work G... dont let these guys get to you... they arent the majority

I suggest you really spend some time in the section that explains, how things are done around here on F95. There are reasons why there are 'uploaders' for example and this community has never been about 'being the fastest' but to keep a reasonable amount of safety for it's users due to the involved material.If you are referring to my earlier replies, it was not my intention to pester or upset the dev or anyone.
