My intial playthrough I was being my usual extra self and re-naming everyone I could! However I noticed unless you do the surname as well the rename sometimes doesn't take. Also if you do completely rename them often if they have other relatives (other than your own family) the new surname won't take. Also even with the cheats on there often isn't an option to edit their surname only the first name, so you can't even fix the broken ones!

Are traits like traumatized and threatened temporary or permanent? Will they go away if the player shows affection?
Traumatized, at least, has a "recovering" version, so I would imagine that one will end up being temporary. The problem is, the games creator is basically done with HTML games, not going to update them ever again. They are instead going to try and re-make them in renpy, and there is no real time frame for even an initial release of either of their games. Instead, you can just go play the tiny demo of the game they are using to learn/test renpy.
Heres hoping the remake of this game greatly expands on the available content.

Probably the latter tbh, he has two other games to finish before returning to Pow for the remake, and the backlog of events is huge for CD at least.
I’d expect 2027 at the earliest with current plan and pace, but im following the other games as well, so no stressing
. Unless all the higher-paying subs do a big push for it or something.

I see some code snippets in the html that imply you could be a female president, is that scrapped content or planned for the future or am I just dumb and can't find the option?

scrapped none of the people wanted it who request stuff wanted it and would have been double the work
I figured out how to do it, still doable, some scenes are slightly altered, some dialogue is slightly altered, but yeah it's definitely scrapped content there's not much actually different.

That's one of the other reasons it didn't work out. So early in development there were only scenes with female partners, so if you were to play as a female protagonist your only options for sex scenes were lesbian scenes. Now that's not a bad thing on it's own, however these games have a large pregnancy fan base, myself included. The amount of updates needed for viable male partners would've taken too long, that combined with all the other issues made it clear that there wasn't enough support for a female protagonist.
Probably not for a while. The dev plans on finishing College Daze, as well as work on Deck of Hearts before coming back to POW
