And this is still without a specific timeline... And all this news at the last minute, when he knows he won't make it and knows people are waiting. It seems logical to say about development delays in advance, so that people don't feel like shit.

I'll just repost this;

I'm not going to lie regardless of what's going on with him waiting until the last few hours of either the last of the month or the first of the month(Depending on where you live) just so he can be ambiguous about the release by saying end of next month and give himself as much space as possible to technically meet his stated goal(s) is a crazy level of disrespect towards his supporters. To say nothing of it being almost the exact same thing he said two months ago except with the word surgery thrown in there.

If I were y'all who still support(I subbed for nearly $200+ early in the dev cycle) I'd be livid right now if only at the lack of transparency and detail and honestly even if you're not I'd pull support just to make sure he lets you because TS is shady that he's given this little information for a 4 month(+? ) delay.

I'm sorry dude's year has been rough but it kinda takes way more energy to give a fuck when we only find out when things are going wrong and even then at the last possible moment.. At least give us detail. We'd take obvious lies ATP and be happy with them. I've seen devs explain more for a one week delay forget four months. It feels like an auto-update system designed to meet the bare-minimum requirements based on what he's already said.

End of July? I thought all that was left was the writing? He's been working on that since end of December/beginning of January right? I know quality takes time but this seems a bit excessive for the last 7%.
