I'm not able to go beyond chapter 8 even if I have completed everything, is this a bug? and is there a fix?

I've played the complete game from start to finish with this current version, didn't have any problems.
What does the robot in your room say?
Just checked my last save from chapter 8 during Catherine's birthday party, after the party I still had to do Catherine's Sex Ed event, Brenna's photo event and Lucia's night time event once each, and seven stages of Ophelia's night time event. After the last night with Ophelia, Hunter's end-of-episode scene in MC's room started immediately and then it continued seamlessly with chapter 9. Works fine.

I never installed any mods, so I think it was a bug. I skimmed through the entire chapter 8 again and it works now.
