Yes, which is exactly why I suggested he does so. He said this is the end of the NTR stuff for this game right? All the NTR scenes aren't "canon" so they could happen whenever, which means he could easily save a few of them for the epilogues.

I never said you were complaining about piracy, just pirates. You're upset pirates have opinions and are sharing them on a pirate forum. Doesn't that sound insane to you?

Granted, I agree that it's dumb when pirates tell supporters to drop support, that's up to the supporter.

Storm had multiple but were removed by the mod for personal attacks, on page 1584 you can see him continuing to argue with the moderator trying to get him to ban the topic.

The same recycled arguments concerning development time/missed dates, the trolling/flame bait posts throwing not-so-thinly veiled insults at anyone who's not bitching about WWG from the same people. The kind of things that are deemed off-topic and get deleted en-masse. - direct quote from you yourself defending Storm about getting the topic deleted/banned.

Yeah, and he said he doesn't want to give a hard date, because he'd give his pinky finger for an extra date. So, all timeframes are an estimate. That means the updates are released around that period, not exactly that period (which is given long in advance). This isn't his nine-to-five. This isn't his only job, not his sole focus. This is done in his spare time and guess what, shit happens. Sometimes stuff happens that means you have less spare time.

It's not purposefully misleading. Like I said, shit happens. If I'm supposed to be at work at nine, but I get into an accident on the way, did I mislead my boss by saying I'd be on time before I left? At best, it's bad luck he had to announce this, because it was never his intention.

True. But there's a difference between valid criticism and outright lies to fit your narrative. If I want to win an argument, I make sure my points are valid and proven, not vague and subjected to (wrong) interpretation.

Does it suck? Yes, it does. Should he have made it clearer that there were outside factors influencing his time to work on the game? Yes. Did he fuck up by not disclosing this? Yes. Did he lie? Oh, that's just delusional.

He has delayed and held it to himself until the last minute many times. A quarter of his total updates over 5 years have missed his timeline, that includes multiple updates that had no dates. Your defense of that is to take this entire scenario and pretend similarities don’t matter so it’s a unique one time thing. You guys talk about putting words in peoples mouth, I never said “this exact 100% same thing happened many times.” I said “this” as in delays and last minute communication.

This is 100% his 9-5 job, that’s just completely wrong or a lie from you.

You guys keep going back to the “shit happens” argument like something popped up last minute. By his own words, this issue slowed things down starting in December, which contradicts every update he’s given since December. That is definitely being misleading, his development has been slowed the last 4 months according to him but he painted a different picture all the way up until March 1st.

You literally posted a rule and said “Talking about this has gone on long enough” trying to get the moderator to ban this entire conversation after the mod already said it was fine. Then you doubled down saying “mods can be wrong”, insinuating it should be banned regardless of what the mod said.

That is the definition of saying people aren’t allowed to have their own opinions.

uh... what? the problem is he missed his prediction. missing his prediction made the "lie". if he just worked on the game without giving a prediction, there's nothing that he could have lied about. how is that so hard to understand?

you guys are mad at what he said. if he said nothing, there'd be nothing for you guys to be angry at. he could have just continued releasing his teasers every 2 weeks until the game eventually dropped.

I know. I'm talking about that being the root the problem. He gave %'s and timeframes and he wasn't on the mark. The forum exploded. So i called out that the anger stems from the dev's post about his timeframes. So i'm saying that the anger is really dumb and that can be cancelled out by the dev not posting things like %'s and guesses. Instead just work on the game and keep us updated. his pledgers are not the ones mad that he missed his guess.

what i'm trying to get at is. If he didn't give us timeframes on when he thought he was going to finish, this bump in the road that happened to him could have happened and we would have never know, unless he tells us. We would just assume he is working on the game, business as usual. we wouldn't have known it happened right at the finish line either. .he would just continue with teasers and normal status updates every 15 days.

It's not what the root of the arguments for pages has been. Not even my words, but theirs. The complaints have been the missed deadline he set on himself. it's all the complaints have been about. The length itself is not what people are mad about. The pledgers have been patient and will continue to wait. So no, length is not the cause of the pages of debating.

Not really when the situations in which these occur are part of the main story. As far as I understood it, the epilogues are meant to happen after the main story, with the 'NTR baddies' already dealt with. There aren't meant to be anymore choices there that could lead to an NTR scene.

Still, in regards to your argument: I never told people they weren't allowed to be upset (even though I found it stupid because they were upset for the wrong reasons imho), I just told them to stop spamming about it. After he said it was fine? I made that post first and THEN he said he wasn't going to enforce it. Why would he say he won't enforce it before i even posted it? look, whether he enforces it or not, it's a the rule. I brought it up, i can't make him enforce it. simple as that.

And again, you just can't help putting words into peoples mouths. I did it to further stop this derailed conversation that had went on long enough (and still going). Nothing about banning, wiping or deleting the conversations that already took place.

The overall development is great. Just people complaining that the last chapter of the game got a big delay. I highly recommend the game and avoid the thread politics. Enjoy.

Only if they are dealt with in a particular manner which we don't know yet.

The way this VN played out from the start is that there was always ntr "wrong choice, silly you" scenes. Not having such thing in an epilogue would be very much so against the norm the dev himself set up.

To me, and this is very much so a personal opinion, what would be very weird is having those episodes without some ntr shenanigans. It just wouldn't be Power Vacuum-y. At all.

What i imagine could happen is that the epilogues would be small What-IF scenarios and that way some would have it while others would be dedicated NTR stuff.

BUT.. this being said.. i wasn't paying a keen attention to what the dev posted in devblog posts in this last year. Was some kind of explicit confirmation regarding this?
