It's okay, I understand that not everyone has a good quality with games. But when you say "I want more than that, so I turn to games like Power Vacuum", it would be strange to mix in games like these two, which have completely different stories and styles.. the maximum that PV can be compared to is SexBot or "Heritage" and these games have a similar style and plot a little...

I understand that you are expecting some stories and logic in AFH or Milfy, but as they say, logic in a porn game has little meaning, if you look at how many fans they have :WeSmart::BootyTime:
What game is the top animation in your signature? It looks like Alex from Eternum, but I can't quite tell and haven't seen those scenes in game yet (I didn't play the most recent update).

That's fair. I only mentioned those games as examples for comparison, so that this discussion wouldn't be so abstract. I certainly did not intend to offend, in fact I actually enjoy those games. But anyone should be able to agree that the writing in those games is... I'll say "unimpressive", is that polite enough? And this goes to the heart of the debate here, which is that Power Vacuum shines because its writing is far better than average. And because of that quality, I find it absurd when people make suggestions or complaints without considering the logic of the story.

That's just your opinion, the same as their opinions being that AFH and Milfy are more than "unimpressive" in their eyes. You could definitely argue that all of PV's writing isn't great either. How many long soliloquys and monologues do we get that are all strictly there to set up some high brow one liner? He even does it during the spicy scenes. That may be great writing to you, but sometimes it feels like a means to an end to show off "how smart and cultured WWG" is. In my opinion Caribdis & Doctor P are the best examples of "far better than average writing".

Just pointing out that your opinion isn't the golden rule, it's just your opinion. Same as so many of you disagree with mine. Also seems relevant to point out all 3 of these VNs mentioned have the exact same weighted rating of 4.1.

I never said Power Vacuum was "great", I said "better than average". I don't think the plot is anything amazing, and I find the jokes don't always land even though they appeal to my sense of humor. But what I've tried articulate, to anyone who can finish reading a paragraph and still remember its beginning, is that the strength of Power Vacuum's writing is in its character development. The characters have backstories, motivations, flaws, etc. which help them feel more like real people and not simply virtual sex dolls. But yes, as if it needed to be said: all of this is my opinion, and I acknowledge my bias.

However, instead of litigating the specific merits of all these games, let me just say this: I've been reading books, watching films/television, and playing video games since the 1980s, and in that time I've learned to recognize amateurish writing and one-dimensional characters. Such things can still be entertaining depending on your individual tastes, but one may find them less interesting or satisfying as one experiences more things.

There's also a different standards we usually for NSFW game. We don't have the same expectation for a game like this that we would have for a non NSFW game. Most of these makes the bare minimum to be believable and sometime don't even go there because they don't necessarly wants natural progression and make artificial progression for the sake of fantasy. Which is fine considering what the people are looking for.

but PV does not stop there and tries it's best to put lots of efforts into development, humor and comedy. Most of F95 game don't even reach the standards of PV.

Not that PV is the best in writing. But when you look at ALL of the aspects, the visual, the renders, the animation, the writing AND the characters the consistency...I am unable to think of another game that beats PV in every aspects.

The one thing I can agree with you on. The one liner jokes can be so exhausting and a major boner killer. Like please just talk like an average IQ family so that my little brain doesn't have to work overtime trying to understand wtf the joke means every minute or two :KEK:

It's not their fault. Their brains have been turned to mush from the drugs in their, water, alcohol, soda, shampoo, sunscreen, food, air, pool water, dry wall, breast milk, and sperm

Each to their own, as you said. For me, the wisecracks and the one liners are what made me continue along with PV. I love that spontaneous shit.
