I sincerely don't understand.
This game always had regular and constant updates within every 5 to 6 months. What? Why? Games always had a great reputation.
Then suddenly this happened.
Delay after delay culminating with this hiatus. Specially with only with 2 chapters remaining (Ch.13 was supposedly to be the last one before the final one).

Could be anything...my guess real life (job, family) got in the way and burned out from developing the game, probably a bit of both.
I still think he will eventually update and finish the game, but it will be a while.

What I was trying to say is that What?Why? Games never stroke me as a creator who tries to scam or deceive his patreons, like some other creators we all known on this site do....
It's really down to what the individual chooses to believe on whether or not he had this dark sinister plan to scam patreons. All the people who said he was deliberately milking now cant really say that because he paused all billing until the update. But at the same time, there is also the argument he might "forget" to pause billing, and then peoples lazyness to try and get a refund would mean he'd still get money. Like i say most of the points can be argued both ways.
I don't really know where i sit anymore, i pledged a decent amount of money on the game overall, and now it does feel like there may be a chance that the chapter will never see the light of day, which really sucks. I understand that the game doesnt really lend itself to individual scenes, but saying that there is a gallery option, which usually has the final scenes of the individual mini stories. Could he not release some of them? Like maybe some of the fan voted ones. It would surely appease some the more angry people around. I know it's basically drip feeding, but still i think it would keep people more sympathetic to his plight. But at the end of the day, it's his game, his life, his health, he can do whatever the fuck he wants, and sadly we just have to accept that.

OK, so it's more in need of the On Hold tag than the Abandoned tag. Scared me when I saw that dreaded Yellow tag here, specially with hearing how close the game was to complete, and how much I enjoyed it so far. Glad that the demise of the game is premature.

Chapter 13 is the last full chapter. We will be getting epilogues for the girls after, but it will not be the same thing as a chapter release. He doesn't know if he will release them as they finish per girl or wait until a few are done and release it as a bigger drop.

Also did he truly changed old Hunter by young Hunter? I though it would be the gimmick of the chapter and then come back as his usual self

No, this game is abandoned per our rules.
Ok for having health issues but when you know that the game from the end of 2024 was on 89% and it was upping pretty fast if we going back to February I think the status should be 96% but Ihe said nothing this year just everytime I have problems every month !

Well, that's a disappointment. I was actually thinking about making a post on why I was actually expecting it to come out this week but there we go.
Sincerelly by this point he has already burned out all the good will he had garnered over the years, at least the whole 'lit a fire under his ass' strategy was fully implemented by the dev himself going around the 'people that would behemetly defend him and support him no matter what' problem that usually makes that strategy non viable. That is unless the whole 'he will forget to turn off the monetisation some months' idea does come to pass... which I really hope not, right now this whole cycle has been a horrible failure on the dev's part both in communications and the time it has taken to develop, specially on the intertwining with those (95%?) but I can chalk that up fully to incompetence, a good dev that slipped up mayorly and put some mayor shadow of doubt any time he wants to do something 'bigger', but if he suddenly just 'forgets' and keeps the monetisation yeah, dude is an S class scumbag.

If it were the first chapter and the creator of the game was unknown and didn't have the fame he's gained over the years, I'd agree with you... but since we're at the last chapter, everything you wrote doesn't make sense. With all the material he's created so far, how can we call it a scam?
