Wow, it is sad to see the state of this place. I didn't follow this thread much in the last few months. So, i ploughed through a bunch of comments just now.
First, i hope WWG gets well and recovers from his illness be whatever it is.

Second, this game is such high quality, i can't help but to feel bad for it. The reputation is already demaged. If the dev would release the last chapter tomorrow, it wouldn't have the proper impact. I am sure it would be premium quality and enjoyable. But, most people would just have a bad taste in their mouth. And, it's just sad.

Sorry, i don't want to be this negative. Just some observation after reading the thread.

Previous exemples in F95 prove the contrary. There was this game with actively communicating Devs that suffered the same 18 months abandon despite having a lot of weekly updades (mostly unreliable progress bars). To add salt, the expected update was about a minor character not well loved. The trolls were rampant, the white knights were on fire, the doomsayers were doomsaying. Delusion, exageration and blatant lies were in full bloom.
Many months later, the update came out. It wasn't even that good (minor character focused) but it was good enough. All was forgotten, fans were happy, trolls fled the light, things went back to normal. I think there has been another update since and more are expected.

Slips happen, real life trouble too, lack of motivation can subside. The 18 months rule is important to protect new players from investing time/money/expectation in a wavering game. But for the long term followers, they have to make their mind with what they know onf the dev, his historical and recent behavior.

I have a list of games I check every month and another I check every 6 months (with little hope). PV will soon go into the second folder. No biggy. No reason to hate WWG.

I am now curious about the game you're talking about

I'm repeating what I wrote months ago:

"I think he's stalling because he's working on the next updates of the final epilogues for each character (at least the 3 main ones) I think it's already finished for a while..."my hypothesis", he's just stalling for the next job because I don't think he wants to work in the summer"

So let me get this straight, he gambled his reputation and paying supporters good will so he can work on the epilogues or new game to avoid summer work? He could have not worked in the summer anyway and nobody would be the wiser with how long his updates usually are anyway.

Ill chalk this take up to copium rather than being utterly brain dead.

I must've been gone for a while cause why the hell is the sandbox gone LMAO. The progression of the story is totally busted starting from scratch. One moment the mc is fine the next he has a dick injury, which if I remember correctly comes from mom night events that are now gone. Am I missing something?

Sandbox in this and most VN here is boring anyway. You just click a bunch of static image until you get to the only scene available. You don't make choice, all scene are mandatory except the NTR scene which are conveniently rewinded back to the decision anyway

True, but as the game was I was missing multiple scenes to even understand the context of the story. Thanks for the guy who told me about the patch.
