Have we considered the possibility that he's pulling the ultimate NTR power move and working on a different game for a different audience? Hear me out.The truth is he doesn't have enough electricity to run his air conditioner AND his computer at the same time.
See, he teases us with endings and closure. But, then, he randomly updates with a completely different game, wipes all traces of PV from the patreon and has some new story with a sympathetic MC that new fans love but we all recognize him as... HUNTER?! New fans join, drawn in by the art and animations and the lack of an NTR tag. Praising WWG and actually cheering on Hunter as he successfully bangs new girl after new girl always staring at the camera! He's staring at us! Nobody else knows why but we do! We want our closure, our endings, our epilogues but he's just giving it to some other audience right in front of us! We post comments about the unfinished game but no one believes us. The new game isn't even NTR so we look like weirdos for hating the new game and complaining about the MC. Then Sterling shows up as an NPC, the douchebag boyfriend. The story is so well liked and popular that people make signatures of Hunter banging Ophelia with sleeping Sterling in the background so it immortalizes it as the true canon. Yup, people get sick. No one's denying that. But it happens way too often in this field, and far too often when a dev is right at the end of development on a cash cow game. When ending said game would dry up their paying sub base faster than a nun in the Vatican.
