Look I know the old men in these types of games are usually ugly, wrinkly, and off-putting but goddamn. The grandfather looks like a straight ghoul. Like if this game wasn't lacking monster or a horror tag. I would be expecting some type of supernatural twist later on after seeing him.

But he's got a great personality

What surgery did he do?

My dad will do Knee Replacement surgery soon. So yeah, I very much sympathize and wish a speedy recovery.

If he's very uncomfortable to sit for just 15 minutes, chance he get acute hemorrhoids. But the operation is quick and the recovery are short, probably a week or two.

So if he still can't return to development, this is probably a spine problem that can range from mild to severe. My uncle had one of the spinal disc removed/replaced. Turn him from a workaholic to an oldman who want to stay in bed all the time. He live, but pain unbearable as its coming and goes when standing or sitting.

edit: he paused the billing now. he also said no update yet, but he hopes to be at 100% when the update does drop, so he can go straight to the character endings right after.

Did it seem like he indicated whether or not he was working towards the update, though? Not necessarily a deadline but at least an indication he's been well enough to work on it?
