The problem with that is that the update is not in any shape to be released in part. It's not as if he works on it completely and sequentially. If it were in release shape, do you not think he would've done that already? He's paused billing until the update is out, so it's in his own interest to get it done so he can resume collecting an income again.

i actually maintain that it's the greatest comedic novel of our day. Granted there's literally zero competition in our uniquely humorless era, but I put it up there with A Confederacy of Dunces..
