  • Not even acknowledging the possibility that the devs need both the patreon money and the 24/7 jobs to cover costs of living where they are.
  • Not taking into account that when they started making the game they were learning stuff as they went.
  • Ignoring that there is stuff there and that more is on the way, with most of the work on the backend meant to make future development easier/more streamlined.
  • Blaming them for making excuses when they still put stuff out when they say they're planning to.
Just say you don't understand that the devs have lives besides making a game, and say they should only work on this game like a triple-A studio.

And for fuck sake, there have been other updates, but nobody was sharing them here until just a couple days ago when v0.2.7.2 was shared.
You really do have a sound argument....provided the game started development in 2021. And imo that's fair.

Since it started in 2018, the devs(or you) really can't hide behind such a cop out/side step "argument" anymore. But I will call that my opinion as well. Like I said, you make valid points, but it's also been 6 freaking years.

We're talking about 6 years of development, let me expect something more than early alpha. Even they spare 16 hours at week, it will make 48x16=768 hours and 32 day on a year. One of them artist and the other one is coder and they both work from home and they're in UK. Like u, I assume they work 6 hours per day with weekend free at home. So it won't be hard to spare 2 hours to game per day and in 6 years u can easily do much more work than current state I mean u can even release a second game. Let's take a look the devolopers. Well with basic research i found 2 members of Horned Lizard Studios. Tib and Sephra. Tib is the coder also from Hungary but live in UK and 28 years old. Sephra is handling with art stuffs, from UK but not much about him/her. According to Tib's steam page he is Full time Game Developer for Horned Lizard Studios, and made Artificial Fright. I just checked what is '' Artificial Fright '' shorty it's a horror game they're working on it and they use their own names, i mean they don't develop under Horned Lizard Studios. I will leave a link if u wanna take a look or support. But shorty they're working on another '' hobby '' even before finish the first one. But at this point i think i judge them wrong i accept that, it's a game will always be free as they say so look at this as scam or milking money is kinda wrong but u must admit they don't actively devopping the predation either. Oh and i don't think they're struggling about cover costs at least not Tib. I mean look at him, he can spare money to his hobbies can go fine places even buy a custom-made mask. He is fine :) Bro is on fire

Never a more smooth and spreadable jam than Game-Jam level content. Just take two days/weeks of dedicated content and spread it atom thin across years.

What a pile of rubbish mate. If this was the case, they'd need to invest their own money in the project and then sell it to people in hopes it would pay back - it's how your triple-A studios do. Nobody expects that and you know it.

They've been working on this game for years now. Not like it's a state of art or with overly complicated mechanics. And they've been supported financially by people all this time. Not to mention what RasenRengar said above - they're working on multiple titles and generaly don't seem to be broke at all - quite the opposite in fact. So yea, people are right to critique such work as it begins to look like many indie adult games - either abandoned or semi abandoned and it bears the marks of scam - to create foundation for a game, throw in something to wank to and sucking money from dupes for many years, occasionally throwing insignificant updates like "bug fixes" or some new textures or whatever piece of crap they try to refresh interest in the project.

If you do something like this to enjoy it yourself or to share with friends, it's fine. But if you decide to sell it, this is whole different story.

I'm downloading versions to see which one the dog is on
It seems that version 1 of the game is the correct one, I will tell you shortly if the game is there, the truth is that it is from 2017 and almost nowhere is version 1 but if I download it and that is what happens to you, I am downloading version 1 and 1.2 is also there if you have more of those initial versions the better

Those pages that download 100kb are annoying if you don't pay 20 dollars but I don't care if I download them, I already have them and that's it. I'm looking for something like dropfile or things like that that store mega files and download them from there. Maybe someone who knows can take advantage of it and upload it well because I don't know how to do that.

you need to do a simple file creation in the game folder, it's not removed
make a file called "gimme.that"
added gimme.that to the same folder as the exe for the new and legacy folder and I can't find the animation in either version
