Actually worse than XCom.. Xcom you can actually hit the enemy just that you are outnumbered and out powered. But this game it's battles that take forever as it's miss, miss, miss, miss..
i dont need to cheat to win this game, remember lv team and choose carefully, you can win but it shed you time. and NOT EVERY OPERATOR HAVING SAME LV, DEPEND ON WHAT THEY KILL AND HOW MANY THEY KILL, SO KILLING SOMETHING OR HIT SOMETHING, YOU NEED TO THINK CAREFULLY
also, don't moving if not needed, it will reduce your hit rate, and take advantage to block enemy by using blockade the map given.
the harder is the next version also know as 2. It will make you break your computer.
% hit rate of the game isnt accuracy, you need to check status of evasion, the higher of this, the more shot you missed. Low lv also affected how you got hit or not too. If you very unlucky, i suggest do it again
just think this game is darksoul version.
THe best team balance purpose
2. tanker ( blade girl and robot )
2. agi team
2. Machinegun and shotgun ( dont like alpha and Mikano much so i pass but 2 of them having highest chance hit them, if only their range isnt suck in the map tight)
PS: playing the game not cheat and win this is more fun than using this

Edit 2 :i found out that lv can get though kill boss and promote last mission at X location

Wow.. noname66 following your advice not to move.. this game really became a boring version of tower defense.. sit and wait to they finally reach you.
Now combat really sucks in this game. Your people are too stupid to kneel down in front to let your long range shoot from a distance? Really.. that is how real combat is done but common sense in combat is not in this game.
Shotgun at 1 square away should be nearly impossible to miss yet misses more then it hit. WTF? The developers must have never shot a shotgun ever in real life. This game is a big miss. Totally not fun to play I have played X-Com and X-Com 2 and combat is actually fun but it was totally not fun here.

that game is pretty old, it come from remake of PC-98. And i see PC-98 more hardcore than remake.
Btw, the game not too hard, if you find the good spot, know status enemy, write a plan,.... then you can win. I dont see the point this game harder than darksoul. I had done clear the game.
If you just sit and wait them but dont let other support dps tanker you will be dead. You need to calculate how to defend and let the low hp operators safe but they can support tanker, giving chance to bring down enemy, if not, then you will be overwhelmed by the numbers and result game over.
Even the last mission isn't too hard than limited time mission.
lv of operator low = miss every time ( just found it when Saeko lv 10 can nearly kill everything and tank the most boss ). The lv rise = more chance to hit, you cant take lv 3 soldiers to fight lv 7 youjuu as the main dps.
How the game lv up ( you need to make the last mission of series hospital, airport,.... then congratulate by commander ) and let operators kill boss to save victims, those creep give little exp than boss
Lv 5 and most using operators ( let the commander said 6 operators excellent in the last mission by bring them 2 times) to unlock H-scene
Now i want to playing the next PSW2 but it not english version.

Tried this game recently but honestly this gameplay has definitely not aged well, annoyingly boring difficulty mixed with incredibly short sex scenes kinda sucks. I was expecting more than 2 lines per scene with gameplay that has some variety though I probably can't fault it that much due to it's age and stuff. Definitely not a classic worth playing today though
Good TBS game where you need to use the terrain (mostly doorways pot plants etc). The H content is just a bit of titillation and the game was way too short, there's only about 9 combat sequences, at the end builds up to some "search and destroy" phase but it never eventuated. thanks for posting.
