Oh its Lady Wolf, she my own character from same universe. She's featured in a webcomic i run, but webcomic and a game lore-wise are ~100 years apart with game being chronologically earlier. So i can't make any promise on her.

Theoretically yes, we have a pledge on patreon to insert fan characters into a game a NPC without smut scene. But currently we are loaded with them atm so can't do it now anyway. I'd prefer owners permission just in case too, he's Wanderheart don't know if he's around this site or not. Though funny enough she's an elf now.

Unfortunately, we're still making the combat and we have skip because of some issues like this. We'll pass it along to the programmer but it may be a known issue already!

This game has best execution I've seen for a 2d porn game scene thanks to great designs, art quality, and them being super lively animated. The combat is great thanks to the "skip combat" button. The writing is good. Some unique word choices during sex scenes.
It'd be better if the girls looked human rather than cosplayers, Meesh style furries with normal limbs would be hotter than bird feet/snake girls but at least there no slime/tentacle bs yet.

The disappointing thing is the personalities. Everyone girl seems to be a pseudo dom feminist and the scenes overall are very vanilla and female friendly. I don't find a protag that goes "Are you Suure you want to have sex, wouldn't you rather we just cuddle?" very entertaining. Also prostitutes where they get to demand they get orgasms? Really.
Then theres bugs like screen staying black after petting cat scene + her sex scene forcing a restart.

Hopefully the devs take the relationships to less consensual direction and ditch the idea to have m/f protag and tailor the experience for one character. Stuff like naming places on map, highlighting objects/important View attachment 148867 npc better would be possible quality of life improvements.

Thanks a ton! We take a lot of pride in the designs and character depth and writing. As for Meesh... well, we might have a surprise for you in the future about all that noise. You'll have to wait and see! . There's a bit of lore already in the game in a conversation if you speak with Esther that gives a few hints.

Ahmm on the females int he game... I dunno I'm not really keen on the "bimbo No.1" or "unwilling ham wallet No.12" and such and we like to have character development and personality on a level where we flesh out living and breathing characters in the world. There is some heavy-handed "you sure?" but it's mostly in regards withHiho for instance who was noticeably iffy about the situation and I mean... In that situation, most people don't just power through while they are kicking and screaming. Plus she could literally break your entire body with that tail of hers haha.

The situation with Nailah (I didn't write Katie myself! Or Terri) was basically... you're either getting the job done or you're getting a 6'9" ogre bursting through that door and making a mess of you. Redic stuck his hand into the honeypot, but there were still some rules to play by.

Our dub-con really comes in with Aya, and there will be a few scenes about that. There will also be more random one nighters and such but we aren't really going with rape in this project. We did get a chuckle at being called feminists when we're making a porn game with extremely casual relationships haha. But yeah bugs are on us, we'll fix that. We will likely have more and more questionable consent and even more selfish scenes... but probably gonna avoid

Naming stuff on the map will be something we are doing but we're working on a map right now, highlights are somethign I personally am okay with but Arbuz doesn't quite care for that and wants it to be more diagetic.

The corruption genre might seem one dimensional if you're not into it but theres room for subtlety and different approaches. Play "a dance of rogues" if you want to read the best writing in porn games.

As for living breathing characters, the characters still appear to exist to satisfy a fetish rather than being unique personalities. You quickly notice the underlying pattern that makes you go "oh, this again".
I've seen games that are so heavily reliant on pleasing the devs kinks they're unplayable. It's a virtue to be able to write scenarios that don't necessarily appeal to your kinks in order to make a better game. Variety being the key.

Hiho scene made sense but the "you sure?" thing is mostly annoying because it's sort of like the mc trying to cockblock the player. "I did her quest and now the guy I'm playing as is trying to talk me out of a sex scene huh?". Also reminds me of anime with beta male mc that are allergic to vaginas refusing all the women wanting his dick and other negative connotations.

Rape is a great tool for porn games, specially medieval fantasy setting. It allows you to save a lot of effort. It's kinda like wanting to have a sex scene but skipping the all talking and going for a prostitute instead, except also skipping paying for it. Refusing to use that tool is kinda like not having murder in regular games. You can do it but it's inconvenient and doesn't excite the players as much.

I actually really like Daughter of Essence for porn game writing, and the being able to back out of boning opportunities is for a couple reasons. One, it will change how characters interact with you, and two, it allows people to avoid scenes with characters they might not be into. Plus there will be a SFW version of the game we plan to get up on GoG.

Redic is as.... "beta" god I hate that terms, only one kind of person uses these terms unironically and it's definitely not "alpha" males lol... but at any rate, he has a bit of a backstory but we're letting the player have a freedom. So while he isn't a complete dick, he can be a bit of a dick. Though he is a total horndog chasing tail, he's not going to force a gal down on him. He's a more grey character with a sordid past.

As for rape being easy and such... I mean, in any setting sure and yeah it is pretty low-effort... but we're not really going for a low effort game, we're actually trying to shirk that reputation with adult games! A few games have been putting actual effort into their adult games and we're hoping to be one of these projects.

Also if you want a neat bit of history, rape in the medieval ages was amazingly not a smart thing to do. The typical punishments for rape often involved a hot knife, a dick and/or balls, and very a bad time. Medieval ages weren't nearly as lawless as many believe, and we're trying to make a believable world with breathing characters. Are they a little fetishisized? Yeah, I goose in a few ways, but there's no getting around that.

We hope the content we have will be something you and many others dig, but there are plenty of rapey games out there already... like, so many, that's really the mass amount of games haha. Its not that it doesn't exist in this universe, but its just not the direction we're headed to in this one. Not saying that games depicting heavy non-con are wrong, just again, not really our direction.

like the comment above, well I dont know if its just me but trying to talking to Katie seems to break the game and after a Katie scene ends if you somehow managed to initiate a Katie scene(i get past the dialogue somehow with lots of clicking, sometimes it doesnt work though) game goes to complete blackscreen. Nor you can save or load.

That'd be pretty cool! We are looking into a few localization languages as it can be pretty expensive to localize. We've talked about a possibly Japanese localization for launch but again that's a pretty big investment. We have team members that speak French, Russian, and German fluently enough but none of us can really afford to do the translation because of how much text there is.

So we'd need to bring on outside team members for it and hit the big languages first, Japanese is one of the largest markets we are missing, Chinese is a rough start because it would be difficult to distribute in China, and others. Its possible to sign on with overseas publishers who localize it for you but then you run the risk of "Japanlish" localization which are hilarious but not what you want to see as a developer haha.

It's been a while and my memory is hazy but that demon on her knees looks familiar to something I saw in a comic once.

If I remember rightly, and I probably don't, someone tries to rape her and she bites or cuts his dick off and grows one of her own. Probably missing some parts there but that's what came to mind when I saw her, is that the same comic or am I way off mark here?

Not sure which build you're playing, but you can always check how much unlocked content you have through gallery. Unlocked scenes should be greyed out.
Game is still in development less than a year so having buttload of scenes on just me would be quite a task. Though we should speed up a bit since i got some help on art department now.
