For normal games maybe, but think about it, where else can a porn game dev advertise his games? F95 it pretty much an advertising platform for them. And its not like there are only pirates here or that pirates don't use patreon and stuff to help out a dev.

Well... actually no, not really. F95 we get about single-digit traffic from, whereas Newgrounds we get up to 60% of our traffic from when we post our WebGL. We're moving onto advertising more and more on other websites that account for huge portions of traffic for other projects too. I'm just here talking with people and such since people want to talk about it here and ask questions etc. Most of the effort that goes into F95 is honestly sunk but I don't mind tbh.

Our main focus tends to be on other platforms on advertising etc. We really haven't entered the marketing stages though so, our presence here is based on interaction and helping people troubleshoot etc. We like interacting with people interested in the project.

I am disappointed to see a game using Arbuz's art, and even based on that particular comic, and somehow the game does *not* have the rape tag.
It's like making a game about Mike Tyson that has nothing to do with boxing.

I am sad by this. Can't even get some snake girls pumping eggs into other girls. Ah well, at least I can just dive into his huge art gallery.

Uhh I think we're at 15 scenes currently and 2 of them are locked out. I could be missing a scene or two in my list I just wrote up, there's a ton to remember lol.

That's by Arbuz' choice and to be frank we do have dub-con. Dub-con is really what he prefers too an- oh wait what? Snake girls pumping eggs into other girls? Uh... well... that's just not biologically... do you mean they lay the egg, then stuff it into the other girl? I mean that's possible but not exactly something we have been considering... It sounds like a good way to get an extra yolky vagina.

the devs are pretty nice and fun to talk with on here and well helpful as some take a while to respond or well never respond but you guys and the dev of Corrupted Kingdom are pretty helpful and seemingly listen to us quite well while not completely collapsing into trying to hard to make some weird mess so thats a good thing even if your not professional game devs what you've done is very nice and fun to play while your comic is well an interesting read with laughs and other feelings mixed in

Thanks a ton, we like to hear from people who enjoy our project and want to see us make the best game we possibly can. It means a lot, game development is a gruelling and painful process where you doubt yourself quite often... at least the people who aren't arrogant do have those doubts and moments where they stop and thing "is this any good?"

So we gotta thank all our community tbh. The main reason I am over here posting is it is an active place and people are interested! I was posting on LoversLab, NekoSentai, Fenoxo, and we got a TON of views sure but... no one ever talked. So it is kind of disheartening to share news there when it's just post after post after post of you talking with one or two people commenting going "nice stuff keep it up."

In the long run Forums are more about engagement with us since the biggest draw we get is from NewGrounds and I think WetPussyGames we are getting some of our traffic from too.

I haven't actually played this game (due to time constraints), but the screenshots would seem to indicate that the artwork and game engine are of professional caliber. I hope the writing is on par with that as many of today's games are brought down by a weak storyline. (Books are suffering from this, too. I have no idea how so much drek manages to get published.)

Regarding development, remember to keep your vision of the game in clear focus. Patrons and publishers provide feedback, but that feedback is not always consistent with making the best game possible. (Look at Pillars of Eternity for an example of a game's quality lowered by giving in too much to Supporters.) I know all too well that it is a fine line to walk, but Patrons who don't get everything they want will still be pleased if the end-product is top-notch.

Jokes aside, if its cause of change of personal preference I can respect that, but if its has to do with patreon policies, please - just migrate to subscribe star and the like while you still can. They are cracking on adult content hard latelely, and even most vanilla stuff can be targeted next.

We decided on a lighter and not as dark tone for the game awhile back. Around the time we did the crunch for the first build.
But we do like dub-con quite a bit and it kind is... more fun lol.

But yeah we do plan on migrating over to SS naturally. We can't exactly just shut out Patreon down and hope people will go over, we need to do it. I was theory crafting that maybe we could offer 1 extra vote for scenes etc for the SubscribeStar backers, and we could release a message over Patreon explaining why we would prefer to move over to that platform? Not sure how people would recieve that though. It's all theory crafting right now, we should be setting up our SS this or next month.

We need their O-Auth system (the thing you guys crack in like, a day xD) though and they just brought it online so it should be soon! The reason we use it so we only have to compile one build, saves like 6-8 hours of compiling for the Patreon and Public versions for our programmer.

Is Samara the only companion you can get so far or is there more?
I would love to have the dragon lady or the cute kobold thief as party members.
Also, I noticed that having Samara around causes her to talk during some NPC dialogues, so I'm wondering if the presence of companions only affects dialogue or more things?
