Is Samara the only companion you can get so far or is there more?
I would love to have the dragon lady or the cute kobold thief as party members.
Also, I noticed that having Samara around causes her to talk during some NPC dialogues, so I'm wondering if the presence of companions only affects dialogue or more things?

The companions not only talk to NPC's, but to each other, and they can even give you new options in dialogues, shortcuts, or story content specific to certain companions in most quests past the first few builds we've had. Even then some of those older quests do have quite a few shortcuts, such as dealing with the Thieves Guild (Black Rat Syndicate/Drowning Rat Syndicate, still picking the name I like more) Samara has a few shortcut options, as does the Crimson Dervish.

Thanks a ton! We really want to make something people are gonna enjoy playing and a world people want to know more about. I really want to add more detail to conversations from the random folk in Kaldea that's more unique to each section of the city, but at the same time we gotta be careful not to go too nuts haha.

HOTFIX 14.1

14.0 introduced an issue with the Loose Ends quest where you couldn't enter/interact with the burned building... that's fixed! Cheese also added more dialogue to the end of the Samara sex scene to spice it up a bit more. Hey how about a bit of a teaser?

This has to be one of the highest quality "porn game" I've ever seen, I wonder how big it will get.
I would highly recommend you enable vsync by default or at least cap the framerate to something reasonable like 60 or 144 though. As it is now the game will fully load the GPU or CPU (depending on which one is the bottleneck) by default and reach needlessly high fps on decent hardware and waste power.

HHHRRMMMNNN... that is a fucking good point and we'll look into possibly limiting that hardbound. I'm not sure if deck already checked that out or not already but I will talk to him! Thanks so much for the feedback btw, love to hear it .

Really enjoying what I've played so far, great to see the burning building bug has already been patched. Unfortunately at the end of Hara's quest I've run into a bug where the quest gets stuck wanting me to speak to her before encountering the Dock Master besides that I've really enjoyed my time with the game. I didn't realize that I played this game before but it feels great to see how far it's come compared to when there was only two scenes in the game. The polish and world building is a lot better than most games released and it definitely a breath of fresh air compared to all the RENPY, RPG Maker games out there. Keep up the great work guys I look forward to seeing what you all come up with in the future.

To hunt demons it usually takes really specialized persons or overwhelming armor... or just, throwing meat at them until you've done enough damage they deplete their pocket dimension.

So she's keeping an eye on him? Good to know. I actually enjoyed the stuff with lady Wolf. There were even a few times where the mc made her blush.

I've just encountered this bug on v14.1, every NPCs relevant to the quest are afflicted with severe alzheimer's and will reset themselves everytime you speak to them so the quest gets stuck once you deliver the iron crate to Hera. I tried downgrading to v13 to try to make the quest advance but it was still stuck. However after reverting to a save I made right before triggering the quest on v14.1, then loading it on v13, the bug was gone and I was able to complete the quest. Reverted to 14.1 after that, I hope this won't mess up my save somehow. My guess is that v14 introduced something that made this quest (and maybe other) glitch out.

Additional details : Win 10 64bit build, Samara and Osh'To as companions. Linked my saves below.

Okay! So we tried your before quest save and the quest works fine in 14.1 hotfix, are you sure you are playing on the hotfix? The hotfix did fix it... but unfortunately, Thuo and Reg... you need to have hotfix 14.1 version, and the quest needs to start after the hotfix is installed, so grab the hotfix and then start the quest. Really sorry about that but it's the nature of alpha builds haha...

Oh, we also have another theory... you are running the 14.0 crack, which is reverting the code to 14.0 so you are actually taking the game back to a state before it was patched out. So if you are cracking then those quests will be broken until it is updated.

Hera's quest seems to be stuck on a loop, after getting her supplies back she says "speak with me when you're ready to go." but talking to her again cause her to restart the conversation as if you're just coming back from the outskirts.

Make sure to do a save before you started the quest when you move onto the 14.1 hotfix!

Whoops, probably should have disclosed that fact, would have spared you the trouble. I assumed the hotfix only fixed the Loose Ends quest since that's the only quest mentioned in your update post. I also assumed the crack either worked perfectly on a new update or just didn't work at all so good to know this isn't the case. Can confirm the crack for 14.1 fixes the issue but I guess it's pretty shitty to make you guys troubleshoot piracy related issues, even by accident. I can't really support your projects financially though, so all I can do is bug report and feedback.
