anybody wanna play wheres waldo since the game wants me to die.
Ahaha holy shit you've held out for a while haha.
Oh yeah totally, her story definitely seems to me like the one with the most potential. I've caught up on their web-comic and her past is still a mystery. And I hope her relationship with Redic improves and he works and helps her more ''willingly'' shall we say. Anyway between the two demon patronesses I absolutely prefer Lady Wolf over Mara.
Dee scene when...
It's a potential in the future, still deciding on our roster of scenes, but people are definitely requesting Dee a lot.
I want the same really. Mara is alright but she's no Lady Wolf.

My money is on Samara. She's as horny as Redic.
That is perfectly understandable. Slideshow endings are my jam tbh. Still, I think there should be one more "major" decision that will change the ending slides - something like in Jade Empire or Knights of the Old Republic.
Damn mate what have Phrik done to you, that even Arbuz decided it was too depressing?
Also ngl, I wonder if we will get more demons? Maybe Cursed Vermin to make the whole situation even more complicated/dangerous/chaotic?
ROMANTIC. Can't really say if it'll be Samara, Samara definitely likes to watch people get it on though, she has a strong voyeuristic streak, so much so she can get herself in trouble in the past. If you have her with you on one of your Moira visits, she peeks and... bites off more than she can chew haha.
Well, there will be ending slides that change based on your decisions so we are planning that suggestion already. Who you help, who you harm, your decisions for the fort etc etc will all factor into the end of game resolutions.
Lol in general I have pretty dark themes in my writing. People for some reason think what Redic is doing now... is worse than what he's done in his past. Aha... ahahah... HAH. No. Redic has done some shit. But you're not going to see what until at least our second act when he begins to open up more. Deciding where to allow some of his history to bleed through is always super hard. But I was going to make it so Phrik died of lactic acid overload (common for crustaceans) and if you went back his corpse would be devoured on by blackfurs, you would have to kill them, Samara would bury him and then blame herself like she does if you let him die. Then you would take something of his back to his family on the coast. Apparently, that's
"JeSUs ChriSt, ToO DePrESsiNg vAlaSKa."
WHY DOES NO ONE THINK MARA IS ENOUGH DEMON!?
I didnt expect writing in this game to be so good, especially with your companions, talking with them and how they join in on other conversations gave me some Dragon Age vibes. Seriously good stuff. Art and animations are great too, Arbuz knows how to draw sexy monster girls. And I really like how Redic is a certified badass and not just some insert-yourself-here protagonist.
Hey, thanks a ton! Like, an absolute ton. I'll pass it along to the other writers involved
You don't have to do that. No one does that, not even triple-A games, not even the old ones. Save for a few extremely rare exceptions there are usually two kinds of "multiple endings."
1. You make a choice at the very end; it creates the illusion of multiple endings if your choice was informed by what you've learned throughout the game. Deus Ex, Mass Effect type games do that. There is no long ass script that has to remember everything you've done. This is best for stories that pose a central question.
2. There is a single value that is altered positively or negatively throughout the game by player action. Best for stories where you want to juxtapose two different types of character behavior. But you can also make that very complex and have 2 games in 1 (Undertale), or very simple and have it only change the ending (Dishonored).
I don't know what this story will be about so I can't tell which one is best for you (probably 1) but neither requires more effort than you've put into it. You don't have to be afraid of multiple endings.
In any case, I have a different type of question. Is the party set or are you open to adding more party members later on? Because there's a kobold thief with nothing but pillow-humping to do and we know every proper adventuring party needs a dedicated rogue/thief.
Yeah we are already doing the first option, several of the things players have done now in the game already will affect the ending and fates of characters. I'll spoil it, one of your decisions may have doomed a woman to execution in a public square at the end of the game. Not gonna say what decision, or who, but depending on what you have done will decide on whether or not she is publicly shamed and executed. The other option for her is a lot better of an ending. Multiple decisions will factor into her fate (and the fates of others involved in the quest). There will then be an end scenario decision as well, in which Redic will decide a few consequences at the end.
Oh I know undertale, that's the one where you fuck your goat mom? Or the pink dinosaur? Good stuff. Or yeah and that doggo girl who wants to go to "Hooman Colleg."
Part is set for now and until we release onto steam, 99%. Iiiiiiiifff we release on steam and the game is a smash hit or if we have the passion to work on more content for PFF:A. We have had a lot of cool, crazy, and stupid ideas on what kind of game we could work on next! But one of the things we've talked about is something like an Iski character pack afterwards with some quests and such... Iski is a heavily requested companion but gosh, to add her now? It'd be a ton of work to tie her into conversations and dialogues, I'd have to decide her party dynamic too... way I would see it is like;
ISKI likes/dislikes
Hiho - Dislikes
Scylla - Dislikes, too afraid to act on it (Iski has saw why she's called the Crimson Dertvise)
Samara - Likes
Osh'to - ... indifferent or likes?
And for them;
Hiho - Dislikes
Scylla - Indifferent
Samara - Likes
Osh'to - Indifferent
I'd guess something like this tbh. Then I would need to expand into Verona, Mara, Moira, etc etc. Tie in their dialogue and such have unique responses to different situations too. Disposition... it's a ton of work for us to take on now so it'll be a decision after we have done final release.
