No, we don't modify releases. You're free to add mods, cracks or whatever you want to it once downloaded.
Neat, if you guys do a torrent for our launcher, people just need to download the launcher once then it will update next build release btw! (I'm not sure if you are doing the full build or launcher, having both might be nice though).

The game has a very in-depth story, TONS OF READING like alot alot, if your looking for a quick yank id look elsewhere but if your mostly interested in a story with some good sex scenes its a phenomenal game. I feel its like what a Romance/Sex Novel would be like, I myself am by no means even a tad bit of a reader. However, I have been intrigued by the combat system, sex scenes and the very well thought out storyline and have really enjoyed the game thus far. You could just get the Gallery code and get all the sex scenes and have a jam session but I feel like the scenes themselves wouldn't be as good without the story that goes along with it. There is a ton of character development in the game, Id recommend trying it then maybe subscribe for a month and see how you feel about it. The normal free edition I don't believe has any sex scenes, but you can get a feel for the story and characters.

I can't get past the first mission where you're supposed to sneak by the bandits with a blonde elf. It says I'm supposed to "find my sword in the storeroom" but no matter where I go in that room the bandits always find me. what am i supposed to do?

you dont sneak past, you go the the wall behind you there are planks on the wall you break off to enter the tomb. Its to the bottom right of the jail room.
Ok thank you I found the answer, I have one final question. Is there no way to manually save? when I go to the load/save screen it only ever lets me load past auto-saves and there doesn't seem to be an option to make a new save.

There should be a "New save" button top left of the load/save menu. Also there is a if you get stuck.

Nah, all the quests of the public build have their associated scenes (something like 10?).

Is there any games similar to this one's fighting mechanism?
Not that I know of. If you want somewhat "similar" games look at other cRPG like Pillars of Eternity, Baldur's Gate or even the Divinity series.

divinity original sin series would be closest i can think of from video games. But if you like interaction with enemy behavior cards and suffering from limb damage then tabletop game Kingdom Death: Monster would be your jam.

Subverse is another one that has a similar playstyle, turn-based board game style combat, it has 2 different game styles one with the board and one that's air combat like "Asteroids". Also it has the best visuals of any sex game I've ever played. It seems to get a lot of criticism on here, probably because their budget was WAY higher than other developers because they had a ton of fan funding, so maybe some jealousy from other developers that think they'd do better with the money or bitter crowd funders that didn't get what they wanted from the game. Both games are amazing, story on Price for Freedom is better imo, but visuals, graphics, combat/gameplay goes to Subverse.

Just to be clear, these games are completely tonally different. Subverse plays more like a Borderlands game in tone and has entertaining minigames, but the main draw is the porn.

I would say that price for freedom has substantially more depth to it with better worldbuilding, more interesting lore and characters, and infinitely more satisfying interactions. The combat systems are similar on the surface, but price for freedom's health and damage system is quite different from anything I have seen before, and that makes it far more interesting.

Yah true, I would agree with the combat system if there weren't so many non-implemented skills in the game. Some of the uniqueness gets thrown out with the abilities because they aren't implemented. However, the skill tree is much to be desired but of all the skills that characters have only one of the skills each of them have the skill tree. The abilities department needs some work since there are lots of teasers of abilities that still aren't implemented yet. That could be development differences, but for me personally the teaser abilities should either be implemented or not shown until completed. So for me, the Subverse combat is slightly better but that could very well change in later developments.
