Made it out of the first area to the point where you can reveal clementine and died, obviously. Looked for a way to betray or get back at her for blackmailing you and couldn't find anything online and basically lost interest. I don't respond to threats well and this leaves me with a feeling of discomfort since it is scripted and I can't do anything about it. Don't think this one is for me.

Sometimes in life we are forced to endure injustice and just survive it, try and find a way around or out of it. Acclimate and such... our plot very much does have this as one of our focuses in terms of plot. That may not be something a person wants in a game and I can't fault you for that tbh.

Redic in the game does have his own agency and plot point etc... I still am not happy you can rename him lol, I think it gives the wrong impression of him being a blank slate character to be the stand-in or an agent for the player... but I am outvoted on that on the team haha.

There is ways that Redic and the player can shirk and do small rebellions, and I plan to reinforce more early on that Clementine is watching, and Redic is uncertain where/who/when she might come back.

She's a character from the webcomic and the game is set 87 years before that, so canonically speaking, it's not likely that any major consequences is going to affect her in the long-term.

Does anyone know where the 2nd collectible pinup is in the mission "Triple Trouble" I found the one near the bushes where the kobold sprites fucked

Anyone had this error ? What should i do? Already deleated config, didnt help. View attachment 5019953
It helped me --> The error is that it can't find this file.
After you download the file and move it to the folder, just to be safe, don't forget to delete the "config" folder inside the "BepInEx" folder. After that, launch the game.
- If, after updating the game, it asks you to go to "Patreon" again and doesn't allow you to play, you need to exit, re-extract the "PFFpatch" archive with file replacement, delete the "config" folder, and launch the game.

I suppose it's worth mentioning that xorxorrax's plugin was used. And as far as I understand, you updated/tweaked BepInEx version/config?
i tweaked it a while ago so i don't remember... :unsure:

i mean as far i remember i changed some .dll's files inside BepInEx folder for some from an older version and it worked :coffee:

Having the same issue.

I did change line 42 just as the post suggests, worked immediately.
If it's not in line 42, you're not using the config from the crack ;) Redownload the crack, put it in the game root folder (the .exe and the bepinex folder should be at the same location)

ok, a bit of feedback: the UI sucks balls. I cant understand half of what is happening. Information is either too small or not shown to the player in a clear way.

ok the game is unplayable.
Almost 10 years in development and still having this UI is a crime.
So let me get this straight this fucking clown is making a game out of his comic that he has spent over 2+ years on and has legit gone fucking no where in the story and has been such a slog to get to legit anything interesting and he STILL has YET to do so but lol gonna make a game out of this lmao sure guy.... If this game is going at the same speed check back in on this in 4 years all it might actually NOT be a tech demo and might be at 0.02 for a version.



In 2 years he has 177 pages half of which the pages are just filler panels it feels the story SEEMS interesting but it moves to fucking slow to know for sure. Oh and link is also source material for this game if you wanna see what you are getting into with this.
oh ok so the game seems to never finish ever. Maybe in 20 years I will check it again if its finished

Its a shame because the comic and art seems ok but whats the point of playing an eternally procastination game that will never get finished?

There's nearly 40 hours straight of content now, if that's procrastinating then alright. If you have complaints about the UI we are open to hearing it, but by no means of the word is this an "eternally procrastination" game.

You need to put costs and effects in a clearer way.

Watch any other card game. Right now there is so much information about what happens to each limb, the costs are in the card description without any clear indication, there is just information overload. And the feedback for effects it's not clear.

I stopped playing because I can't focus on what's going on. A shame if you have 40 hours but the UI is not there yet, the art seems good but I can't just get into the game like this.

And don't get overprotective with criticism, it's ok. I've seen many projects go bananas because people take things too personally.

We might need to tweak the tutorial more or make a written guide for if the tutorial is hard to pick up. The cards are actually enemy behaviour, it shows what they are about to do and there are some skills etc, which let you see further into their deck,
or even discard their cards so they won't have certain attacks. But the targeting can be a bit confusing, one of the largest i0ssues IMO is that the turn ends automatically instead of the player having to hit end turn. Arbuz and Deck both wanted it to auto end, but that's something that is super hard to understand and should be a toggle... they added the toggle some update ago but left it toggled default to auto end. That needs to stop.

I am fully here to hear productive criticism and I will even hear out people just ripping into us to try and discern the truth that might be in their frustration, but saying we are procrastinating just has no truth to it. The only alternative solution we would have there is potentially more communication, but you didn't go to any of our official channels of communication anywho so that would have been missed.

At that point I will defend our team, as we are a collaborative process and I want to defend my friends but also my work too.

That was the first impression I got, that this is a cash grab, and others also were commenting on it.

The movement feels weird and the feedback of what's happening on screen is either buggy or confusing.
