Gotta say, really enjoyed these last few chapters (havent played in a few months, came back recently to check on all the games I've left on stand-buy).
As usual, Price of Power is the one that leaves me feeling better at the end of the day. Very wholesome and comfortable, the main story is very enjoyable and the two girls we've met are absolute darlings and sweethearts. Love'em to death

It's one of the few storylines that takes full advantage of the visual aspect a VN offers to enhance the story being conveyed. Also, since it's a mostly "on the rails" experience you don't need to worry about making a "wrong choice" or missing a "true ending".
I'd say give it a DL and experience it blind for yourself

The story is great, actually. It has a fantasy themed world, that is quite well fleshed out, and underneath that, a whole sci-fi backstory, that is slowly revealing itself. Give it a shot. If you like games with some depth to it, where there is an overarching mystery, and realistic characters, and great dialog, you will love it.

So Maria is forced on you? She is exactly the kind of female character I hate. Poor little rich girl who grew up with every privilege one could want but ignores the responsibillities that come with them.
This is why I hate "For love of magic" as well. The Character is forced to have a bullshit romance with the annoying princess meanwhile ignoring the red headed bombshell who has 10 times the personality and is far more attractive then that insipid princess. Sigh.

It's kind of implied by the game description and banner. Not sure why you would've expected something else. Also, there's far more to Maria in this game than how you describe her. Ofc that doesn't mean this game will be for you.

I don't mean to bring the tone of the thread down it's just people have told me this is good and I do like a good fantasy story with romance being my jam.
However when I started playing i'm seeing a lot of references to churches and religion.
Me and religion are on very bad terms.
