It's a common issue with RPG maker games. There may be ways to fix it. but it's usually, hardware issues, at least from my experience. I had a gaming rig while back, played modern games easily on medium, and still chugged from rpgmaker games.

The older the engine, the more problems come with it as tech continue to grow. VXACE is a GREAT engine, don't get me wrong, devs have pushed what it can do to the brink but there's a reason why the vast majority of new RPG maker games are made using MV instead. Hell, before they fixed up MV I would actually say that VXACE was the better of the two especially for older computers.
That being said, it just wasn't made for epic sized games if you don't know how to properly go about it's code. The three biggest games I've seen come from this engine are this one, ROBF series and Monster Girl Quest! Paradox (which is absolutely HUGE). And each in one area or another have lag issue. ROBF when you try to reassign job skills and start animations for some attacks, MSQP I've mostly seen going into battles and this game mostly on the world map, looking at reign menu and progeny menu.
how much has this game changed in the last few years? I played this in like 2022 and haven't thought about it since. Anything worth replaying added since v19?
There was a problem that the source text of P&Q weighs more than 10mb (10.6MB) and because of this MTool cannot translate, you need a subscription to translate more than 10mb. I need to crop the original text by 0.6MB somehow, but I do not know how.

- Some Princesses got additional H scenes.
- Some Princesses actually got an ending to their questline, still far too few for a 3 year gap.
- New reigns and Princesses.
- Tons of new weapons and armors that enhances the game by a multiple of 0.
- Tons of new traits that actually do enhance the game, but not by a great deal. Combat still isn't really that fun.
- Tons of new items that makes some things easier, if you can find them because dev like to be cryptic.
- 2 years worth of DLC characters which time could have been better spent adding to existing Princesses or making long unrecruitable NPC recruitable. Oh and the vast majority have a single H scene that you have to figure out, because of course you do.
- Some NPCs got additional H scenes.
- Rework how tea parties work, great way to work on spreading peace.... or get each nations pissed off at each other.
- Added NG+ features, that are actually quite good ngl. Some could use some tweaking though.
- Tons of new Knight types that I wish I could say "enhances the game by a multiple of 0" but depending on your play type are actually a really good feature. Tch.
- Can go on dates in specific locations with princesses, something that honestly should have been in the game a long time ago.
- Guild receptionist actually have a single H scene....which honestly is underwhelming for the work needed and she should have more.
- Progency Lady still don't have a H scene which is long overdue.
- YOU CAN HAVE SEXY TIME WITH MOUSE PRINCESS'S MANY SISTERS!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Oh and they now all look very different from each other.
- Though still no Rin love...

Nice pixel animations. The game itself is hella slow though.
I might not have what it takes to play through the game, but Ihave what it takes to rip some animations really enjoy them pixels. Beware the double spoiler.

Now if only we had a guide to trigger all of their H scene since the old wiki is gone and the new one is still lacking a lot of info...
Since the wiki is gone, can someone tell me how fast the food system works and what foods are the best at controlling weight gain/loss?

Excuse me, does anyone have a guide or know of one? It's been a while since I played and it's changed a lot.
Is there anything I can do when I select "Items" and the game freezes? It plays the proceed sound twice.
