Dr. Emily pondered.

To grant a single soldier combat power on par with heavy weaponry, she reasoned, the solution was simply to equip that individual with the weapon itself.

"The Heavy Infantry" are the elite of the elite within the Elpasian military, clad in the most robust and most heavily budgeted equipment.

The large spear was repurposed from heavy mining machinery, but Dr. Emily succeeded in achieving overwhelming firepower by incorporating an ultra-high frequency device into the weapon, generating explosive induction heating.

However, the strength of the Heavy Infantry lies not only in their attack power, but also in their defense.

While they hold their shields, you cannot land any attacks, and even if you manage to find an opening, you cannot inflict any damage whatsoever.

No matter how much you hit them, it's zero damage. This is a problem.

Still, even if their HP bar doesn't budge, you might notice the shield gauge below it slowly diminishing.

Hang in there.
  • Final area map tiles and background (90% complete)
  • Final area level design and gimmicks (20% complete)
  • Final boss animations and implementation (60% complete)
  • Main story implementation (50% complete)
  • Sub-event implementation (30% complete)
  • Added several H-scenes
  • Sprite sheet organization (mainly Ish's)
I've mostly finished the map tiles I struggled with, but the final boss has so many animations that progress isn't going as smoothly as I'd hoped.

It feels like it requires two or three times the work of other bosses... like spending an entire day just to get a few steps forward.

But please look forward to it.

Once this is done, I plan to proceed in this order: final area level design → main story → sub-events → playtesting.

There is NO full game out yet. There's only that one demo with the first stage. Other than that, the rest is all rewards which showcase new enemies and a short demo on how to fight/interact with them in small game snippets. There will be no more trial versions with more stages either, the full game is near completion and the devs will directly release it when they're done. You can follow the thread to wait for news when it'll be out or follow their ci-en posts and stuff. You can find the links in the recent pages of this thread if you wanna.

While "Paratroopers" aren't particularly strong in conventional combat, they rank among the most annoying enemies in the game when it comes to sheer irritation.

This is something surprisingly few people have noticed, but previously, if you reduced an enemy's HP to zero, they would resist seduction. However, since a few updates ago, you can now seduce them even when their HP is at zero.

Since this enemy is designed not to fall to the ground easily, we recommend either shooting it down with Meteor-element attacks or timing your seduction perfectly once its HP is reduced to zero.
  • Final area level design and gimmicks (50% complete)
  • Final boss animations and implementation (95% complete)
  • Main story implementation (50% complete)
  • Implementation of sub-events (30% complete)
  • Added several H-scenes
The final boss is nearly complete.
While balance and presentation still need polishing, I believe it has become a boss battle worthy of the finale, offering a truly intense, life-or-death feel.
I look forward to the day we can show it to everyone.
Regarding the final area.

Originally, this fourth area wasn't intended to be as substantial as the second or third. However, it ended up containing just as many elements, if not more.
I often work backward from the BGM to generate ideas rather than deciding the BGM based on the concept. This time, encountering such great tracks was... well, I suppose you could call it a kind of misfortune.
(You'll have to wait until the final release to play that area...)
