If the most recent posts on Patreon and X are anything to go by, they are not gonna bring another alpha update and instead, the next update is straight up going to be 1.0, considering in one post they said, that a lot of the assets and levels are done.

They do occasionally post a preview version of the game where you can test various enemies and scenes.

Yes, apparently.

He exports the animations from aseprite into spritesheets and imports those into Pixel Game Maker MV (into Resources\img\XXX.png files, see

) and he does the rest of the game with that engine. At least all animations are defined in Resources\data\project.json, including how to split the spritesheets, frame timings, which sound effects to play and when etc. and also combat parameters like HP, attacks, enemies, etc. can be found in that json.

I am not quite sure myself.

90 % of these gifs I found by scrolling though this entire forum. If I had to make an educated guess I would say that most of them will be added down the line, while a few were just tests or bonuses that the dev made for funsies.

The X-Ray views for example will all be added, in one of the previews you can already see them in action.

The female enemies getting dicked down are probably background scenes that will be added to some levels, similar to the ones where your own people or your advisor are getting railed by the invaders.

I've collected all of these gifs when I was testing GR with releases 2024_02 through 2024_11 and full version 0.3.2. Not sure which sprite was in which reward, and most of them appear in multiple rewards and some in all of them. But I'd like to point out that these rewards include lots of sprites that do not appear in-game, for example the X-ray animations already exists in reward 2024_02. Also some animations were present but disappeared from later rewards (like the nun-threesame or the kid-missionary for example).

Not sure which one of these will end up in the final game.

The inquisitor boss is way too tough and there aren't any mechanical features to counter it, no dodge, no parry, no dashes, takes a business day to get up from being knocked down setting it up for another attack and phase 2 is just fucking ridiculous. Is this still in development or what?

Edit: Okay I realized I could counter him and I forgot about it, but still, way too tedious for a porn game.

Hi, use GAME RIPPER. It works just like gallery.exe, but supports lot more game engines and PGMMV versions.

Note: the latest encryption is not cracked yet (Reconquista feature demos 2024_06 and up won't work, but the demo game with the priest boss will).
Hint: by clicking on the "Scan for sprites" button, you will get naked H scene variants as well (not yet in the game).

I can't seem to open any sex related scenes, the game ripper can only open some particle effects image, the rest of the png can't be open, I tried various tools to open the sprites but so far It's all useless, do you know how to open the sex scenes png?
I've slowly descend into madness trying to open the character sprites for 3 different game versions but still, no results (and yes, I used the newest version of the game ripper and the versions that you tried with it too)

The inquisitor boss is way too tough and there aren't any mechanical features to counter it, no dodge, no parry, no dashes, takes a business day to get up from being knocked down setting it up for another attack and phase 2 is just fucking ridiculous. Is this still in development or what?

It is still in development. However, I'm afraid this is a massive skill issue on your part. While the game is not fully optimized to run well yet and some things like getting up are sluggish as a result, all of the boss's attacks are HEAVILY telegraphed, or at least predictable in when they can happen. The main thing that will kill you is overcommitting. So if you want to make the boss easier, don't always try and get a full combo or use "high risk/reward" specials. Hit and run as best you can to keep yourself out of harm's way. Save those more powerful things for when the inquisitor's armor breaks, then feel free to fuck him up in the time you have. Also heal if you need to, since that boss will almost always put you at or near full if I remember correctly.

Also, while this is mostly just a pet peeve of mine, you probably shouldn't base your entire perspective on a game based on the fact that it is, in fact, a porn game. H-games are typically just as much "game" as they are "porn". (I used a shorter version of the term, but I'm sure you know what H stands for.) So saying it's "too much" of something for a porn game strips its second title away far more than is necessary. Just like how not every safe game is going to be accessible to everyone who interests in them (people who like Metroid and Castlevania may not like Hollow Knight and Nine Sols for their difficulty, people who like Plants vs. Zombies may not like Bloons for its increase in complexity and different playstyle, etc.), not every H-game is going to be accessible to those who interest themselves in them.

TL;DR, don't commit to big attacks until you've stunned the inquisitor, and if you don't like this or any game being a certain way or having a certain thing, just list off your gripe instead of justifying it based on relatively unrelated content.
(P.S., sorry for the long paragraphs. This is nothing against you in particular, I just tend to do that a lot. The price I pay for being the grandchild of an English teacher.)

I understand the strat and that's what I actually applied back then, and I am all for a game with mechanics, but when it's still a porn game, a lot of people want an easy time to fap and go do something else, so that should be included as well, satisfy both people, those who like the game and actually want to play it ( I like it, and when I have time I would like to play it) and those who want to fap and go do something else. That way it's a win win for both people.

And while you may say this isn't for everyone, do consider that games of this caliber (fully 2D animated with great sprite work and hot niches, I like this kind of tanned aztec tribal chicks, and actually good combat mechanics) are becoming much rarer in recent times with the increase in AI and 3D slop being shat out by people recently, so people want to cling to a good game when they can without having to put MUCH work on it depending on their time. I like to put in the work to get the sex scenes myself, but I don't like having to be stuck in a boss fight for an extended amount of time. I like to have the freedom of wanting a challenge or just breezing through to get the scenes, fap and move on and continue later.

To the first point, I absolutely agree, and that something games in general have gotten better at doing. (Nine Sols, for example. It's not an H-game obviously, but still-) There's the mode for those who want to experience the raw challenge, and then something for those who want to complete the game one way or another. But I would like to mention that in that case, like you mentioned, it *is* a demo. I hope something like that gets added at some point, but it's unfortunately probably not gonna be around for a while.

To the second point...I hate to agree with you on that, but you're right. Finding good games in strange places is, at this point, a common pastime for me, but it sucks that the ones that are well-crafted are so hard to find at this point, especially ones that fill those niches you don't see too often. So in that case, critiquing the few that do exist so they can be the best they can be makes sense, I just was somewhat naïve in how I thought about that.

And finally, you're welcome. It's nice being able to talk to someone about these things and not be in a discussion more heated than a newborn star. (Also, I feel you on that last part. Getting skill-checked on its own is jarring, but especially so here.)

There are games that offer quick and easy fap and there are more challenging ones - like this one. If you want fast burst and move on, perhaps you should stick to PH or something as there are gallery videos without you having to struggle with gameplay. Also there are links to gifs from this game on this forum on some page back, including the boss.

You're using an outdated version of GR. Use the latest and everything will automagically work.

(ps: some PR rewards store 32 bytes long encryption key in the json, but since the last 8 bytes are all zeros, internally they actually use 24 bytes long key (generating a Twofish encryption key from 32 bytes and 24 bytes yields different results). Older GR did not support this key stripping, but the latest does, tested with PR 0.3.2, 2024_04 to 2024_11.)
