Having a debate about this is stupid but no, no one needs to be yours to be NTR. NTR mains objective is to create jealousy in the viewer/reader. A mom might not be a son's lover, but there's still, sadly, mother/son NTR.



You are trying to defend a game where the previews apparently have the dude reading some social network about this girl being fucked by others, and regardless of their relationship, the objective seems clear. Unless you are some kind of onlyfans simp.

You know, I'm not exactly big on NTR myself, but damn if it doesn't feel like with every year that passes, NTR haters invent more and more sub-categories and stuff just so they have more things to complain about.

The whole thing started with stealing a girl/guy from someone in an actual relationship, usually a sexually active one or one which had the promise of becoming sexually active. And it was actually stealing that person, to the point where they completely abandoned their original partner and stopped caring from them completely. Often enough it involved an obsession with dick and the original partner being poorly endowed or bad in bed or something, because of course.

Nowadays, there doesn't even need to be any kind of relationship at all. If it's not complete monogamy, then it's clearly NTR.

By that logic, harem eroges are NTR, because the MC isn't loyal to any one partner. Albeit, it's not from the player's perspective, but clearly, it should be tagged as such.

By that logic, this game is NTR from the other angle as well, with the MC wanting to take the girl for himself and all her other partners, who had her first, in spite of the fact that he only learned about her recently. Or more like the player rather than the MC, but still.

NTR is more than just a lack of faithfulness. It's a matter of intentionally causing someone else emotional harm. At its core, the whole thing about NTR isn't just about stealing the guy/girl/whatever. It's about emotionally destroying the person that this is being done too.

How does ANY of that apply to this supposed sub-genre that seems to exist just to get people offended. How does it apply to this game specifically when the girl makes it clear that she's a slut that fucks anything with a dick that can satisfy her? No one's trying to emotionally harm the MC, and only an idiot would try to get in a serious relationship with a nympho like that unless they were able to accept that she'd never be exclusive to them or anyone.

Played this, it is not NTR by any rational measure.

Basically, any infidelity (there was never a monogamous relationship in this game, from the start she tells him they CANNOT and WILL NOT have a romantic relationship) gets labeled NTR by some folks, which sucks because cheating and cuckolding are their own distinct (and beautiful) genres.

Btw, this isn't cheating either. This is straight-up prostitution, although we never see an exchange of money, it is heavily implied.

The MC never desires a romantic and exclusive relationship with her. She never plays with his emotions. He is never jealous or emotionally wounded.

Oh yea i can agree there. I just find it especially nowadays alot of thing just get twisted to the way people want it. Todays society cries and they get what they want so alot of people just want their way and only their way. I followed alot of game for almost a decade AWAM being one (3 to 4 years) and i like alot of different genres and when i see games that could be great get destroyed not just by one side but both wanting only their way and Most devs buckle and change their games according instead of making what they wanted. Its just sad when i see it all. Just my opinion though. I always get alot of hate from the none NTR fans when trying to explain anything. But enough of me whining lol. This games looks good.

The Dev caving in to community stupidity means exactly nothing. It doesn't change the fact that there's a lot of confusion over what is and isn't NTR, and that there's an absolutely massive mixup in terms and "sub-genres" between NTR, cuckolding, cheating, and some other stuff. It doesn't help f95 simply doesn't have the tag diversity to cover this sort of thing.

Honestly, I get not liking certain themes. I really do. I dislike plenty of things myself and want to avoid them.

However, I prefer to get lightly burned now and then, rather than inconvenience the people that like the things that I don't. At the end of the day, it's the people that enjoy and sample a fetish that truly understand it, and it's those people that truly know when it applies. Not people that read descriptions, dislike it, and prefer to avoid it and only run into examples by accident.
