I have played this before and bookmarked it awhile ago, its been awhile since then but now when I tried to download it, it wont finish cause it is saying that a virus is detected. not sure if there is something in the update that is triggering the virus detection but anything I can do to fix it? or does there need to be a patch for it?

No clue, Gofile link did not trigger with Firefox on my end, your security setting maybe too strict the data-node host scan the file before the dl button pop-up for what is worth, hopefully the Itch.io link work fine for you.

I am using Opera, first time it said anything about a virus with this browser, the first time anything about a virus was with firefox a few years ago but like i said, cant remember how i fixed it then. i have been using opera for, geez, a couple years i think. been a member of this site for about 7 years and this is the second time this happened. my settings should not be strict at all since i come this site about once a week to check out new games and whats been updated. still not sure what happened. and yes, the itch.io is downloading and will be playing it soon. it has been awhile since i tried this game out.
Dev using Steams playtest feature as a makeshift drm, so unless you pay him 10$ on patreon to get a steam key there wont be a full version. Maybe someone can buy and leak clean files from steam
Don't use torrents to download it. Why would you torrent it when you can get it for free on itch?
If it's a Microsoft Defender SmartScreen issue, you don't need to worry about it because the code signing is not done and that's why that window appears. But, Antivirus quarantine is a different story.

I found a strange thing (possibly a bug) that the price for Implant increases several times if you made many upgrades and restart the game (from around 10k to 90k at levels close to maximum)

It happen a few time in 1.0.5Demo and 1.0.3PT, i could not trigger it after 5try in 1.0.7Demo but you just need to go for the reset button if that happen the prices should reset to the right one.
Does it happen after you dive? there is maybe a calculation mix that happen if so

I've been able to clear it multiple times without any cheat options, just with the demo version. My general advice follows, but obviously if you have a different playstyle something else might work better for you.
Personally I use Irina since her teleport is by far the most useful ability since Kyra's ability doesn't allow infinite pistol shots anymore and Nekhnet's doesn't get you out of a bad situation unless your DPS is high enough to clear things out and get moving again.
Get the T52 Reaver suit for her (the only other option available in the demo AFAIK), which is generally better than the default in most ways. For a weapon, the M240-Revenent is better than the default rifle, it fires a bit slower but has more base damage and ammo capacity. Most enemies will die to one hit for most of a run anyway, so more bullets a bit slower ended up better IMO. Focus on movement speed and weapon damage for the implants, then crit, and health last (if you're in a bad spot odds are the extra HP won't last long enough compared to the dps boost).
For level ups there are a few weapons I suggest getting over every other option. The tracking missile and pulse bomb are top options, then the tracer (the drone that fires bullets) and magnetic field. Lower down but still good is the one that damages all enemies (it does consistent damage and helps with the fast moving floating torso enemies, but becomes less useful later even if fully upgraded), the damage AoE that spawns underneath you (you'll mostly be running away from a horde in later areas, so they'll walk right over it). Ok, but not preferred is the circling drones, the bullets that shoo in a straight line, and the one that does bullets that move out randomly before returning. Avoid taking ones are the damage zone (it's ok, but too inconsistent) and the one that shoots behind you (which will almost never be in a situation to be useful). Stat wise, go with movement speed (it upgrades your main weapon if you get 8 stacks of it), base DPS, and crit chance. Crit damage doesn't matter if your crit chance is too low, defense and HP don't matter if you're not getting hit often, attack speed isn't too useful IMO since most enemies die in 1-2 hits.
Room upgrades I go with damage upgrades, since the crit damage isn't useful and increased packets aren't worth it IMO. Occasionally you'll get item boxes instead of packet boosts, which can be worth doing depending on what the challenge is. Unless you're at an extremely high crit chance increasing crit damage won't be a significant improvement.
General way to play is to walk in a circle around the room shooting behind you to take out the swarm that will follow you. If you do get a room where there's a hard corner you can actually sit there and just fire past the edge and take out all the enemies as they walk into range. Save your pistol ammo for later areas, especially if you get the robots that shoot (they're just more likely to hit you massed attacks, so wiping them out fast can be good) and the human enemies that can tank your shots (where you really want to clear things out faster). Use your teleport if you're getting boxed in, and mostly don't worry about picking up drops unless there's a clear chance or you jsut happen to circle back to them.
There's a glitch in the machine that lets you choose between two types of bonuses. When it comes up for you to choose between Critical and Attack, both choices lead to choosing 3 Critical bonuses. The Attack choice should enable the player to choose between 3 attack damage bonuses.
Well using Kyra infinite ammo skill with the gun that fire 1 AOE bomb for 250damage is not a bad strategy
Each girls have their own skill with right click, some suits have really bad stat too
The Dive is being reworked a lot and the demo lock you with one set of weapon hopefully if a new demo come around will get a taste of an other weapon with the upgrade shop, i think i was using a rocket launcher in 1.03 but you didn't have infinite ammo back then.
It was said a few time on itch.io but the v[1.0.5] actualy mean v[0.0.5] same for 1.03 (0.0.3) something went wrong with the first publication/registry and can't be corrected so the full game will be at v2.0.0 and it's putting the game in an really bad spot too
You need to find them in item box from dive then you go to data analysis scene will play with the Girl you selected.

Checked the new demo and it does appear to be bit easier, but I was still disappointed with animations, for a game about abuse causing them amnesia, they are pretty fucking vanilla (plus they are kinda stiff, no interactivity whatsoever, no cum physics, no inflation/bulges, not very rough at all, kinda boring), shame because the models are quite nice.

IIRC the choice is written along the lines of "what do you want for criticals, damage or chance" and you get the option of increased critical damage and critical chance.

Did it with Kyra equipped with M240 rifle a few times. No endless enemy hoard any more definitely improved the game play, but the drop after killing the boss is pretty ... underwhelmed. Should at least guarantee a suit, for example

From i think 1.0.3 to 1.0.7 the Dev did focus a lot on the gameplay part but should be back on animation, well the dev said that if the game do well, he will look for an "animator".
It's still early in developement time will tell.
