Kill Marc? WTF is your problem, dude? Marc might be not the perfect step-son, but it's not his fault alone. It takes two to tango, right? Myriam could stop him in his tracks, just like she stopped her husband. Also if she doesn't, it might be you preventing it...

Yes, no need to fight over this, of course the game is just that, a game, no need to break too much your head on this, if the setting of Project Myriam is more of a "normal world" one, I mostly aiming towards "believable" in its own logic than towards "reality" compared to our own world.
But of course, don't go scratch too deep in our own world either because you discover some quite gloomy and horrific reality some times, I worked with children as an early carrier and some kids did live some horrific stories, you never thought it could happen around your home, but it does.
I agree.
First of all, I think that a plot (any kind of plot including the one that is created as a background for a porn game like this) is coherent to the extent that the creator is able to produce his own world, with his own logic where the characters and events unfold following the same logic. For example, if the hypothetical scenario is a male-dominated society, I would expect the unfolding of events to reflect that type of world.
Second, I've seen a lot of people criticize some games for supposedly setting up scenarios that are too "unrealistic". Leaving aside the fact that a porn game does not have to be realistic, many tend to identify reality with their own obviously boring individual environment or at best with the average reality of the average individual. The real world, of course, is much bigger, and you only need to read the news to find out that things are happening, and often things much more horrific than those that occur in the darkest fictions.
Suppose the following plot for a game: a man builds a bunker in the basement of her house in order to lock up her daughter to rape her again and again and force her to have his children. And he is so successful that he prolongs that situation for 24 years... if anyone comes up with such an argument, I'm sure he will be quickly attacked by the "reality police" of the f95 forum. Well, I'm sorry to report that this actually happened. The man's name was Josef Fritzl...Who knows how many similar cases must have happened without anyone knowing? And in the world there are people with much more economic means and power than that guy.
So defining what is or is not realistic is more difficult than it seems.

When a reader complains something is "unrealistic" what they mean is they were suddenly reminded that they were reading a story, that none of the characters they were reading about actually existed and that none of the events they went through were actually real. Ultimately it comes down to violation of expectations: Expectations that are informed by the genre, by the work itself doing previous legwork in establishing tone and setting, and by baggage the reader carries with them when they read the story.

(It's why a Certain Type of Fantasy Reader, for example, is perfectly fine with dragons that can fly and breathe fire and wizards who can throw fireballs, but throws a fit when the setting isn't a rapists' paradise where women are treated like cattle to be bought and sold. It has nothing to do with realism, it's just how they've been trained to expect a fantasy setting to be like.)

Indeed, it's why Truth is Stranger than Fiction, as they say, because a story has to make sense to its intended audience in order to be accepted. Reality, on the other hand, is perfectly free to be inscrutable.

That doesn't mean you should necessarily disregard such criticism, though, the problem the reader is describing is a legitimate one even if they're describing it badly. But like all criticism, you as the author have to decide if that criticism is a problem with your story, or if the person making it is just not part of your intended audience.

Anyway, I'll agree that Myriam shouldn't kill Marc. Death is far too kind a fate for that little punk. /s

Hey, I think you missed a piece in the prologue, around where Anthony slap the hand of Myriam she say that they are together only since not long time ago. Maybe I may have misunderstood bad this scene so idk but if, sorry..
Thanks, will look into it when I make the patch for 3.07.

Hmm, a sports coach who sexually abused the children under their care for decades and whose abuse was an open secret, but the school administration actively helped cover it up because they were too good at being a sports coach to fire? (And maybe were also fucking the principal?) Where have I heard that one before?

But anyway, this is, ultimately, a porn story. In a porn story, things that would be horrible crimes in real life are just sexy taboo fantasies. The things that make them crimes (like the power dynamic between a teacher and student and how this nullifies the possibility of consent) are swept under the rug and not thought about. A plotline where Myriam's fucking around with the students is discovered and the Principal has to cover it up, because he wants her to help train the kids up to go to the olympics, would be completely tonally wrong.
I never suggested that it was impossible for a Principal to cover up a teacher's abuse, or that such an outcome would feature in this game. All I claimed was that her having sex with Cleavon, didn't make it a foregone conclusion that he would protect her, if knowledge of her having sex with pupils started spreading around the school. Which is what the person I was replying to, had more or less concluded.

Now this is entirely hypothetical because it may never feature in the storyline.

Really like a lot of this game. Renders are beautiful the only thing I am hoping for is at some point Myriam can kind of separate from being a victim. A good deal of the scenes involve her losing control and not getting much of a choice in how things play out. Would love to see her have stuff where she is the one calling the shots
