I wouldn't really agree that's exactly how ALL players see the game, but in the end, it matters little.
Even Zorlun's own take on the game has been significantly altered, not because he as an artist wanted to make these changes, but because he was forced to appease the gods of Patreon.
It was probably worth it from a financial perspective, in which I have symathy for Zorlun, but it also resulted in a bit of a messy game, where many relationships/scenes make little to no sense.
Other than that, I'd say that from the start, the game had this huge amount of stats, but their impact is very limited, mostly a stat not being high enough locking you out of scenes. In an ideal world, there should be entire characters locked/unlocked by these stats - for example Myriam brushing off guys or outright avoiding situations unless she has a certain fetish.
This, of course, would be a lot of work, however.
Even though my own personaly enjoyment of the game has been quite negatively affected by the patreon rewrite and also by the breakneck speed some things in the game developed, it's hard to put any blame on Zorlun - judging by his patreon and subscribe star numbers, he seems to be on a good trajectory.
I do, however, however, feel that the main culprit for this is a thing Zorlun appears to understand and many, many other authors of games on this site don't - people want regular updates. If you only update your game once or twice a year, it really needs to be of SUPREME quality to make up for this lack of progress, and even then it's a stretch - who wants to wait a decade for the final version of an adult game? If there's one thing Project Myriam delivers, it's regular updates in a very reasonable schedule - for that alone Zorlun is to be commended and deserving of each and every patreon/subscriber he has.

If I postpone the shoot, will it happen in the future? It's probably going to interfere with some other scenes if it is done later I guess :/
I'm no sure, I was just going on what I think Zorlun implied in a previous post, if it is an either / or in the progress then I will go forward with the photo shoot as I think the gym thing is just a throwaway for those that didn't take the 'muse' route.

Guys anyone knows how to get the gym scene? How come I didn’t get? Is this in this update or previous ones?
Not sure honestly for now, I mainly offered the choice for convenience to let people on the Flint muse road have an easier way to see the alternative and not have to go back to a way older save and try the other choice.
I was thinking of reoffering more or less the same scene, with some parts cut (the first part with the woman and the old gentlemen) and obviously with a slight rewrite of some lines.
But for now, nothing set in stone.
You need to not be on the Flint muse road, or if you are on, I added a choice to let you see it (what I was talking on the other quote), when you are at the choice at the door, chose to postpone, simple as that.
If you are on Windows, I have still the 4.04, and the 4.05, "installed", to be able to update the incest patch, and there is no such file in the Myriam "installation" - kind of expected in a way, since .vbs by default is the extension for Visual Basic Script files.
It may be worth it to be a bit paranoiac and do a check on your computer, at least that folder.

Zorlun finished the update. The shower scene was really good with the trio, later on I saw the Max scene and was hoping the same a DumDum to give her complete bukkake to all her face and body.
