I also read somewhere that Zorlun wasn't going to add any new characters or storylines, yes she had met the vet already, but Zorlun said he was looking to complete the game and was concentrate more on the end game instead, I could have misread that. I really hope here is more to the vet storyline and Myriam's beasty kink.

I can confirm that as far as I remember, Zolrun had explicitly said there could be something else with the veterinarian clinic - but of course only for the ones that did meet the veterinarian (and eventually also had Myriam "meet" his dog ;-)).
But give him time, he has filled the game with possibilities for Myriam, and there are some that have not yet been touched at all, so, he need to have time to develop everything.

I didn't meant to say that Katherine was a 'non entity' as such, I just meant in terms of game time and story, Marc has more game time and being a part of the story.

Yep, that is definitively true. But if you look, Marc has more time for the ones that follow the incest and/or Marc route, due to the sexual activity. If one has not activated the possibility of having sex with Marc, Marc ends up having more or less the same time as Katherine, so, it goes back to the sexual element that makes the difference.
