And further to the question of why Zorlun might allow such a thing, we've been over this before, but the player gets to choose Myriam's path. It was spelled out for us right there in the OP. There will be multiple paths for Myriam, and the player will choose between them. And some of them might be less "triumphant" than others.

In the end, unless Zorlun wants to tell us, one way or the other, we're all just speculating here. But, as has already been pointed out, we've already seen Myriam get raped in this game, so it remains a possibility for the future. But, it would likely be optional, if included, so no one has any cause to be worried.
