My point was the same as Goku's. Eve isn't there to encourage Myriam. This is Myriam inviting this of her own free will. The reason it's similar is so that we the audience can see the difference in who Myriam was and who she is now, it's a very simple story telling device.

Typical refers to someone from Latin America. Basically anywhere in the Americas that predominantly speak romantic languages like Spanish and Portuguese. Really Canada, the US, Guyana, and a couple other dependencies of European countries I'm forgetting are the only non latin American countries in the Americas as they speak either English or another language. Mexico and most of South America would be considered Latino.
