No, at the start of the game before Patreon started blocking incest storylines, Marc was Anthony's son and Katherine was Myriam's daughter from previous marriages, so to sidestep the perceived incest route between Marc and Myriam, Myriam was no longer married to Anthony and they were just boyfriend and girlfriend living together with a kid each.

Regardless of whether they have a blood connection, Myriam still considers Marc to be her son. And that Mother/Son bond that she has with him is just as much of a taboo to be broken, as if they actually were blood-related. That's why I don't bother with the patch, because although it's not legally incest, it is as far as she's concerned.
I don't use the i-patch either, I was just saying that the original storyline had to be changed because patreon see even step-siblings as incest, in my mind when I play the game I see Marc as Myriam's son, just because he calls her Mi instead of mom doesn't change anything.
Incorrect in part. The ipatch does not make a "step-" relation, it makes it really "mother-son", as it was originally.
Negative. When the game started originally, Myriam and Anthony were married, Marc and Katherine where their children. After Patreon intervened, Zolrun had to make the situation as you describe - that is why the incest patch can work out, because it puts back something that was there already, does not invent something completely from scratch.

The question is not even whether it would be too much work, though it could also be the case, but that anyway I do not have the assets (or maybe more exactly, I do not know what morphs/assets I should use with what settings).I think the man who does the iPatch just changes the text and some of the dialogue. I don't think he makes his own renders with new scenes, that would be too much.

As mentioned by others, the content with Katherine was never there in the first place.
For Marc, yes, the content was there already in the first place, but after Patreon intervened, Zorlun had to stop doing it.
Then, I made and distributed modifications that allow Marc to continue being the son of Myriam, and that therefore brought back an incest situation.
Is there a mod or a way to save a game that was started from the gallery so I can continue playing from that point?

You either play and watch the gallery scenes or start playing the regular way from the beginning and do your saves.
You can't save it from the gallery (that I know of).
Thanks, I was hoping for a way to start from a gallery scene. I saw a scene in the gallery that didn't show up during the game and wanted to keep playing from there.

The choices you make from the gallery are not stored in any way in the game.
You have to play the regular way for the choices to take effect when you make a Save.
The Save guarantees those choices remain so that the following scenes and choices in the playthrough appear depending on the choices you made.
The Gallery scenes are just there for replay.
Actually there's no difference officially between Patreon's rules and those on Subscribestar regarding incest. It's just Subscribestar are not as zealous when it comes to enforcement of their rules as Patreon seems to be. My guess is, Subscribestar would only move on this, if someone made an official complaint about it, at which point they could if they so wished, remove content that contravenes their rules without any notice. This obviously doesn't happen very often, otherwise we'd have heard about it, but it's interesting to note, that the general belief that Subscribestar have different rules to Patreon on this issue, is incorrect.
In California, where Patreon is based, sex between step-relations is not classed as incest. But in many other US states and some European countries (including here in the UK) it is. Which is probably the main reason why Patreon have decided to class it as incest (because it affects a lot of their potential customers).

It's more down to where the banks are based that Patreon use, think I read somewhere that originally Patreon were basically forced in to it by the banks, because they didn't want their name associated with taboo subjects.

It's more likely to be Visa and Mastercard, because they rely on them for payments. When Pornhub didn't do enough to restrict content on their site, Visa and Mastercard removed their ability to receive credit card payments. My guess is, Subscribestar is so far, just too small to register on the radar of the powerful US religious organisations who are pressurising the credit card companies. If it ever does, they'll probably end up applying the same policy as Patreon.

No, it's just within the immediate family unit (including grand-parents). But a blood relation is not required, for it to be incest. So sex between step relations and adopted children/siblings is legally classed as incest. Sex between anyone, 'officially' classed as the member of a family unit, is incestuous in the UK. So that would exclude family units, where the parents are not married.In the UK, cousin marriages have been banned?
