[Then download and play the freaking game on the first page because the versions with a +P include all the old (and new) beastiality content.]

What new content... it's been awhile since the last beast content correct?
New is a relative term. Unless I am mistaken it's been several months since new content was added or am I missing something?

News and Resurrection! Free the Boobs Version!
And here she is... Our dear Jesus of naughtiness, Myriam resurrected.
Thank you all for the patience, here's our first render with a fixed computer, new gear and after rounding up all the resources needed to start anew.
So, everything is fixed?
Not everything per se, I'm still waiting the final result from the data recovery lab, the problem with my HDD seem to have been hardware wise and fixable (with 9/10 chance of success), so I ordered the fix and paid a fee for urgency (so I might have a chance to get back the drive before the weekend (as I'm writing this on Friday morning it might have been wishful thinking).
But beside the HDD, the computer is fixed, new and more powerful cooling system; a supplementary SSD fully dedicated to work; two new HDD, NAS quality, one for the work and one for my own crap; all the programs are up and running, no more error messages, it simulate and render as it should; and the final touch the backup system is already up and running to backup the new set up.
So, back to work?
Yes, now that I've set up the computer, reinstalled and upgraded my programs and painstakingly reinstalled resources (boy that was a looong pain in the neck), or at least the necessary ones to start working again (the rest will be reinstalled as needed), I can finally start working again, at least on the renders.
Only the renders?
No, I could already start writing and programing, but in the end the only thing I was not able to salvage or save was this month writing work, and still hoping that the data recovery lab give me a final positive result on that front, I'll wait today for some news (or call them), then I'll adapt depending on the news, so either starting this month from scratch if the HDD is dead (writing wise, since I do have the renders already made), either writing from the point it crashed and wait for the fixed HDD to arrive.
Conclusion...
Such a painful and costly waste of time, nearly two weeks of working time lost due to this crash from my computer, I can only apologize for all this and take the lessons to heart, no more easy going monthly backups if I thought about it and no more unique backup...
But all in all, not counting the still impending news of HDD repairs, I dodged a serious bullet here, the game and Myriam felt the wind pass them really close.
I cannot thank you all enough for all the support and love I received during this trying and stressful time, let's stay humble, I know lots of people have a way harder life than me and way bigger problems, but when you see your livelihood and 4 years long project in the jaws of death, it's brown pants time for everyone... ^^
So thank you all, again and again, sincerely, and now back to work! A big thank you as well from Myriam that nearly saw her naughty acting career reach an abrupt end, she loves you all and cannot wait to get back to work as well, leaving you with this little first thank you picture, in all her full nudie glory, before getting back to it. xoxo

New news and end of disaster!

Just now

Well, that was fast, just the time to answer people on my previous posts and eat something and here it is THE news... And it's a "they're dead, Jim" situation, they tried and failed and try some more to fail again.

So, what now?

Well, as said in the previous post, I did not let time pass by and do nothing and got myself ready to go if worse come to pass... And worse came to pass, but at least I'm ready to go, Project Myriam took a hit, but it's not dead and I'm ready to go back at it.

What's dead?

In the end, since I had backups of all the renders and their saves, I can get back to rendering exactly where I crashed down; I also have backups of the last month game file, so since I do not encrypt my data, I have all my writing to last update point, meaning ch5.11.

The only thing really dead, is all the writing I had started to since this month for the ch5.12 update, and a few fixes in spelling some people had pointed me out (but even those I can just go do them again, since I have my Discord logs where people pointed them to me).

So, that's it?

That's it, that's the last post on the subject, last chapter in the disaster series (and hope there won't be another one too soon). It's kick in the nuts, but I prepared for it during all this last few days of limbo.

Conclusion...

I can now reap the band aid, stop waiting for the data and get back to it... Myriam got kick to the curb, but she's a tough girl and she's not just tough, she's even Texas tough... ^^

I apologize again for the long hiatus and roller coaster of drama (I don't like this much, but I prefer keep people appraised), and I thank you again so much for your trust and support, I can only hope you keep enjoying the game despite all and can enjoy Myriam's last adventures as we get back up and aim for the end.

So basically nothing the "professionals" tried actually helped him... Sad. But at least it is behind us now. I wish you all the best my friend!

Poof! :poop:
That was my data...
Well, silver lining, if there is any to take, at least I won't have to pay the lab more money... That's that... :cautious:

Now, back to work! I have perverts to satisfy... ^^

They told Zorlun that they had a 90% chance of recovering the data and in the end nothing, I would ask for the dead body of the HDD back from these people just in case :KEK: :illuminati:.
They are sending it back... After all, I paid for the pieces and it's mine... But I definitely have the feeling to have been bamboozled here and they just gave me a 9/10 so that I go for it and pay the extra urgency...

But maybe I'm just bitter from the failure, in the end, I asked for a service knowing it could fail, and it did, that's that... I prefer putting that behind and focus on the game, now that I can work again.

A lot of those businesses should have some guarantees, like no recovery half price sort of thing, i believe you got scammed a little

Many businesses operate like the one Zorlun used. It's happened to me once. The problem is that businesses such as those don't have any regulations on them. In this day and age, with the IT business boom, they should be bonded, like plumbers, electricians, lawyers, et.al. That gives the consumers a level of protection. If you don't do the job correctly, you can have the business license pulled & fined for multiple such infractions. Also suspension of business practices and permanent loss of license for blatant violators and outed to the internet companies like Angi's List. It's a Shame that people and businesses have to be Made to treat their consumers with a modicum of courtesy and professionalism.

I don't know about programs fir windows, but there are some pretty good ones fir Mac that can recover from a lot if HD crashes. I had one go bad and got about 60% back after several runs. You can get a good bit back when it is a software error. Hardware problems are much harder.

Well, I had sort of a half price, I only paid the material they ordered for the repairs as well as the fee to make them do the job faster, the rest of the cost was only on success and was the bigger part to pay, so in the end I paid around 2/5 of the whole cost...
But like I said, what's done is done, I paid for it and it went wrong, that's that... No matter of getting blue in the face will bring that data back, I prefer to let it go and focus on the game.

While it is certainly possible to recover data from a crashed HD, it is by no means guaranteed.
Much better practice IMO, is having up-to-date backups, backups and more backups, both of the incremental kind and clones.
HD's and docks are cheap. Back-up software can be scheduled.

With this, even if my Mac went up in smoke before my eyes, I would at most lose a couple hours of recent work, nothing more.

Anything important should be on backed up on an external HD. They have ones that hold well over 1TB (and if needed just for important stuff doesn't need to be nearly that large.)

Don't forget off site backup in case you have a break in or other disaster at your house.
