I would literally like to portray you as an example in front of other DEVs, for your punctuality on making a release single handedly, even after facing major challenges. Whereas there are many other DEVs who are just good at writing excuses only, even for months of delay. They should learn from you, how to deliver a work with commitment.

The thing is , as I was raised, I try to treat others like I would like to be treated, simple as that, when people support me financially, doing the work and keeping them informed is the least I can do.
But honestly, now that I'm behind the curtain doing my own game, I can both attest that it's hard work and that a lot of developers must take people for chumps and absolutely bullshit through their teeth (or they are really really really slow (talking about the full time ones of course)).
