No Cyrstal scene this update no, not before the endings sadly.
And yes we're getting closer to the endings, it's not for tomorrow just yet, but we're approaching the end of chapter 5 soon (probably around the summer).

I can hardly beleave I am saying this but I will also wait for the next update. I am fully confident that waiting for the full Nubia experience will be worth it. Have been looking forward to this for so long now that a few weeks more will make no difference.
I am Happy that Zorlun seems to take his time with this scene and not tries to cram everything into a short update which I would guess means less renders.
(So I expect at least 4 days of playtime for this scene alone
