News and Preview Scene - Chapter 5 - Naked and Afraid
Hi everyone!
Here's a long awaited preview for the coming update and start of the ending chapter, following Myriam in its first part as it addresses the cliffhanger ending of chapter 5. A hard preview to write up as I don't want to give any spoilers before you have the occasion to see it yourself, so it's going to be a little vague, sorry for that. ^^
First, no spoilers on Myriam's whereabouts, but I left quite a few hints for the players during the whole game and last update for them to know what it's all about. All I'll be saying is that the whole update will about Myriam facing the situation as the last ordeal/gauntlet she had to go through before the real endings (though depending on choices, she might be facing her "end" during this part).
Second, and I think it's important to say to reassure the few very sensitive on the subject, this part will be an ordeal/gauntlet as stated, BUT the whole scene can be managed without any hardcore or forced naughty business DEPENDING on choices made during the event itself. Some other choices made during the game will have their importance and will provide an even better/easier outcome, but even without them, the player will be able to go through the event without any naughty business forced on them (in the strictest sense of the term, some might still be feeling miffed that she has to go through some parts of the scene, but I just know I won't be able to please everyone).
Third, for the other side of the rainbow, there will be a few things to explore and having Myriam to go through, but no spoilers. ^^
Fourth, speaking of exploration, there will be a few paths to go through for the curious, not everything will be possible depending on the Myriam you brought to the scene, but I hope it will please the one that enjoy trying a bit of everything or keeping a few saves in store (looking at you those with Excel tables). ^^
That's it for the preview side, now for the news side... I'm not finished with the update, far from it, but it's going well, I can't speak of a schedule for now, I honestly don't think it will be an update released on normal schedule, I don't think I will be done before the end of the month, and I don't want to stifle this update to get into the monthly schedule, I think it's important I go through everything I had in mind and release it when it's cooked without cutting in the middle.
But don't worry, as usual, I will keep you all posted on how it goes, meanwhile, I thank you all for your patience and constant support, Myriam will soon be with you all! ^^

You unzip the contents of the Mod folder into your game folder and choose "Yes to all" when it asks if you want to overwrite existing files.

Just keep in mind that one of the key things that set your game apart from many others, is that the characters are solid and connected. It's not just some random chick. It's Myriam, a mother, a human being who exists with motivations beyond the next cock.Most probably something else entirely, but I do have a few ideas on the same universe...
The whole family theme, is a big thing. I'd love to see other games in the same universe, around the same characters, even Myriam's family.
A smash hit is a smash hit for a reason. You hit a winning formula on so many levels with these characters, so leave things open ended for yourself.
So no path to stay with husband?Most probably something else entirely, but I do have a few ideas on the same universe...

I think it's pretty obvious what's going on here in the images; the guys from the lake in the woods got fed up waiting for Myriam to return for a swim. jeez, I swear coming up with the idea and the start is the toughest dam thing to do for a developer.
Actually, yes. If you are playing with the incest patch/original relations, Anthony is the husband, and there is an ending where apparently she goes on with Anthony - effectively, it was the first ending appearing in the game, but Zorlun did not implement it on popular request (he had asked), rather focusing on continuing the story.
Now that he is going to start working on the endings, he will certainly also implement that one, though it is to be seen when he will do it.
Just keep in mind that ending was supposed to happen relatively early in the game, so if it is implemented as originally hinted, going for that would rather shorten the playtime.

So, I'm late, didn't realize the last update was out, but I have been rather busy this year.
Just played it and holy heck that was great, the camper van in the background behind Mark and Katherine was fantastic.
Sadly, my theory above is not looking good; the guys from the lake probably don't have a driver's license, but maybe they paid someone.

Because the original "Myrian stays with asshole husband" ending occurred WAY before that. ie if that ending had stayed in the game then that decision and that game ending would have happened back in chapter 2 and you wouldn't have had any chapter 3-4-5 and none of the later choices Myriam made that resulted in him shooting her would have occurred, because on that path she'd have been off living the life of a meek submissive housewife somewhere.
If I was to guess, I would say it's the motel manager, since Zorlun has already told us that him and Myriam will be having more content before the end of the game, and the likelihood of her returning to his motel voluntarily is extremely remote (bearing in mind she now believes that he could be a serial killer, as well as a rapist)? So having him abduct her, is probably the only way that storyline could reasonably happen?
Isn't that what this game was supposed to be anyway? Isn't Myriam loosely based on Sophia, and this is a kind of parody of 'A Wife and Mother'?
Nope.
Myriam is based (physically) on a real friend and ex of the author, Zorlun. Actually, he even revealed here (so, I don't feel bad in saying it) that she had even bigger breasts than Myriam, one can imagine the physical effect on her back, and effectively Zorlun indicated she had had to have reduction surgery (and yes, I know people are more used to the idea of women getting fake big breast, but reduction surgery does exist).
It was not in the original plan, but with Anthony success with some of the fans and supporters, I said I would add a little special ending for Anthony, this is why a specific choice was made on ice at the end of chapter 2, once I've finished with the update I'm on right now, starting the ending chapter, I'll go back to this choice and make this special Anthony ending (I may work a few other scenes leading some point for different endings before that, but anyway, it'll come soon ^^ ).
I think he was more talking about the game itself than the character, but I would say that no, not really, if AWAM was certainly one of the games that inspired me to start my own, Project Myriam was not supposed to be a spoof of it.
Some of the main games that really made me want to make my own, were AWAM, Project Sage and Good Girl Gone Bad, this was for me at the time the trio of games I both enjoyed the most and that frustrated me the most. ^^
That's this mix of the two (enjoyment and frustration) that pushed me to want and try myself at making my own, and why I often invite people frustrated with mine to try themselves at it, if it's hard and some times a pain, it's definitely fun and rewarding (talking mentally more than financially here ^^ ).

When we slowly enter the ending territory there is something I always wondered: will there be anything additional in the ending that take the stats into consideration?
Until now I have taken almost all submissive and saphic decisions possible (I skipped the priest Route and maybe I missed something else). So My has a fairly high stat there without having it on max.
Is there some kind of threashholt of points to gain to maybe get something extra in combination with the endings based on characters?
Maybe the answer would go too much into spoiler territory and maybe I even don't want to know not to ruin the Magic of the choices But maybe you have a clever answer nontheless...
