I like correcting people (such as yourself) who like to consistantly and constantly give bad and wrong information (in whatever thread you're in) so that people who follow the thread, especially new players, don't read comments such as yours and take them as fact. That's my problem, man.

The patch doesn't even make sense as Anthony is up on an attempted spousal murder charge...she wouldn't even need to go to court in the first place to get sole custody if Marc was hers, thus the whole actual point of that part of the story.

I don't want to try to be the center of attention here, but you made a lot of sense. There is a huge difference between exhibitionism and nudism. Some families gather all nude, all ages and shapes, just to be happy with it, at a BBQ, beach, or just inside their home, I don't quite understand the reason, but I think it's like being vegan, they sort of activists, now exhibitionism is to attracting sexual attention from strangers.

While this game has Bestiality in it, I would never call it my favourite novel but without Bestiality, I would be inclined to call it my favourite.

I do enjoy all the choices, but the main thing about them is that each choice feels valid and doesn't weigh the game down with too many characters. A really good novel needs a lot of characters, but there are quite a few one-and-done characters, which is perfect. Many developers can learn from this novel, but I just really wish it didn't have bestiality in it.

So, the "official" before Patreon's intervention had Marc as Myriam's son, the "official" after Patreon intervention has Marc as Anthony's son.

Just saw this reply. Actually, see my other reply, you are giving wrong information, because you are referring to one official version, while there are actually two.

About the court hearing, actually, you got wrong the sequence.
First they go to court for the custody, then, Anthony tries to kill Myriam for revenge.

Which means the court part still makes sense, actually, makes more sense if they are married. A custody battle between divorcing couples, happens often.

If Marc was not her son and there was no divorce, it is much more complicated to justify the hearing as presented as a realistic thing (notice Zolrun clearly indicated he had no intention of being realistic).
The fact Myriam accuses Anthony of "domestic" violence, does not have an automatic impact on him retaining the paternal authority on Marc, considering there is no indication whatsoever of any violence by Anthony towards Marc, and considering that the non-existing legal status between Myriam and Anthony means Myriam has by default not legal authority on Marc.
In that case, only if a judge decided to take away that authority from Anthony (which is a specific procedure and hearing), eventually after the shooting, then Myriam could try to get temporary custody as a preliminary to an adoption, but would be far more complex than the hearing presented (that again, is before the shooting).
She would have more weight than the first person passing in the street, but would still not have the mother link, and a judge could decide that is the best interest of the kid not to be caught in the middle of a fight between his father and a partner that is not his mother and met him when already grown up, and put him in a foster home temporarily.
