VN Ren'Py Project Myriam - Life and Explorations [Ch. End.01a+p] [Zorlun]

Yep, the question has been asked quite a few times, so yes, the answer is all around buried in the nearly thousand pages of the forum. The question is so frequent that I added it into the FAQ of my Discord server (link in my signature).

But in short, it's because Katherine has an important role in the game towards Myriam, she's the beacon of hope and love, the one thing that will always be there whatever choices she makes, whatever happen in her life, they share a motherly/daughter bond that is supposed to be an anchor for Myriam in the game.
Adding naughty business to it would risk too much to spoil it.

This is why zorlun's project myriam is one of my favorites, shows the deep thought process in the characters, plot and narrative, especially for a porn game that isnt trying to be overly pretentious, and also catering to us degenerates with all our various kinks. And also seems like a decent person, from all the replies.

News and follow up on coming update... (again)
Hello there, it's me again (again), following up on the coming update, it's going well, not finished, but we're getting there, I've taken care of most of the main/early branching out, with all the different paths crossing over, and I'm left with the last two main ending paths of the scenes (with each of them having a few branching out depending on choices made as well).
Beside its many 'game overs' (meaning death), the scene will have one bad ending (meaning Myriam is neither dying nor able to escape or saved); and will have a few escape/saved paths (their ultimate result depending highly on choices made during the scene as well as during the whole game, with her stats and a few flags). As said before about the scene, the player will have the means to go through it without any 'bad' naughty action (though keep it mind it's dependent on choices made of course).
The scene is a big mess coding wise, with lots of going back and force depending on choices made during it and lots of path crossing, but it's quite fun to make, it will be highly interactive with the player exploration, though I know a few will probably prefer to keep things simple and short. ^^
So for now, the end of the month schedule for the update early access release looks good to me, but as always, I'll keep you informed. Thank you as always for your patience, I must say I'm impatient to release this one. ^^

THIS!!! The game itself is really good, but the bestiality content is pretty much the MAIN reason I come back to this game. Zorlun did a really great job implementing it in an natural and enjoyable way. Probably even my favorite game in that regard. The only thing better, would be animations.

Zorlun Can you confirm that your next game will have bestiality in it? And that maybe you will expand on it?

Zorlun Can you give us a hint on this (even when it's undecided)?

Honestly, I don't think so for now, or at least it's not in my mind when I think on all the different ideas I would like to go on for the next game.
Though I did think on some close to it themes, like monsters or fantastical creatures (and for those already screaming "No!" in their head, it would be optional and not the main thing of the game), as it would be both less problematic for a lot of platforms and more interesting for me narratively.

So all in all, nothing set in stone yet, but don't get your hopes up.

yes but a huge part of his audience is that he is generating, basically the only truly high quality content in that niche. He owns that niche and dominates in several other popular niches he seems less interested in for his new game.

Meaning, he will have to pick up a completely new audience. Which is fair enough. But don't think that particular niche isn't responsible for a big chunk of his fanbase.

Well it's your game, you can do what you want but like the previous poster, I too discovered your game following the bestiality tag. There is a fan base for it. You did it so well, so it hurts to see it go away

where is the explanation?

Search for the posts about the incest patch, or posts with "Katherine" inside, or maybe even better, both words, "incest" and "Katherine".
As the author of the incest patch, the two things I had to do n times were reminding people that the incest was ni the game originally, I restored it, did not create it, and why there isn't, and there will not be, any sex between Myriam and Katherine (though for this second part, I pretty much repeated the concepts from Zorlun himself).

Fair enough, though I think that Project Myriam goes beyond that kink or any kink (well, apart from anal maybe ^^ ).

Not so sure, no, I think that a good number of people liking this kink is playing Project Myriam, but I think that the vast majority is here about the female protagonist part.

Again, fair, to each their preferred kinks, this is something I'll never put in doubts as I myself started my own game at first because I was not finding what I wanted. And I can definitely say I do not regret the adventure.

I can only hope that people will give the next game a chance, but if not, all I can say is a big thank you for the support they gave Project Myriam, without all the love it received it would never have reach this point.

I know Myriam is not in a safe place after the end of the last update, and I think most people conclude that it's related to the Motel at the start. However, it might not be, after all, you could not mention to the police about the motel, and therefore whoever it is will be related to another choice you made.

There are several potential options

1. Creepy guy and the big dude from the motel (most likely option)
2. Anthony or something related to him
3. The old guy who was next door and his submissive son.
4. The drunk guy from the train who tried to kill Myriam and that teen.
5. The guy who tried to rape Myriam in the bathroom. Is a choice not to choose him in line-up, and he goes free.
6. Something related to the briefcase Myriam was giving in the cafe, and she ended up in a motel room with the 2 guys.
7. The teens who were attacking the homeless guy and Myriam chased them away, and they said Myriam would regret that.
8. The little alien who abducted Myriam (most unlikely option)

It has to be someone, but depending on choices, there are many possible options, and it makes sense why it will take Zorlun time to finish this update.

Interesting theory... I don't want to speculate about the identity of the kidnappers... However, if I remember correctly, Zorlun also said that saving Myriam also depends on the decisions we made earlier, or maybe who we contacted... Well, if I only look at my game, I don't have a route with every character... So certain characters definitely can't help me... I see only one perfect option for every route, and that's Cassius. Why? Because he's a dog, he has an excellent sense of smell, and he loves Myriam. Of course, this is just my idea, but it seems the most logical...

Imho the main interest comes more from the curiousity which situation Myriam will find herself in next and how she will resolve it, not about intricate story twists and constant torn off masks. Which is perfectly fine for me. It totally works.

But that again let's me beleave it is the rather obvious option.

Of course I am happy to see any other option as well because I know it will give us tons of lewdness.
