Oh, triple A. Sorry. Yeah, this is why I shouldn't reply during breaks between work. Yeah, they should definitely know. That's literally their job as per themselves and the title "triple A" that they gave themselves. Calling yourself triple A and not knowing about optimization is like calling yourself PH.D of astrophysics and not know how to calculate gravitational pull.
Haha, yeah exactly. But they barely are given time to make the game good. No doubt they arent given time to optimize it even if they could.

But yeah, most developers like myself probably doesnt know that it exists or how to do it xD

I remember i once tried for fun with a 3d game. It was over 2 gigs and i got it down to under a single one.

Big reason of course is that Triple A development is always, no exceptions, failure of management. Just purely for the fact that they have the standard practice of crunch, which is definitely a failure of project management.

Edit. Sure you can blame the top for that mostly, but the project leads should definitely fight for more time and resources or scale back the projects to meet the given resources and time.

This is wildly off topic, but the reason games from AAA studios are often so big isn't because they aren't aware of optimization, it's because file size isn't what they're optimizing for. They're optimizing for FPS. In games like CoD, there was a time that not only was a file not compressed, it was often in the files multiple times so it would be closer for the drives to load on disc based drives just to decrease seek time. It's just a different set of requirements.

I have a rule growing up in America. If someone's business name and/or self-given name is <some virtuous trait> <first name>, that person is not said thing and a liar
For example, "Honest Bob's used cars".

With that said, I have a tip I'd like to pass on. If a movie/show/film/etc. review has "This movie/show/anime/etc. is like <insert name of another famous/good movie here> but <insert something that suggests it's one or more steps better>.", that's a mediocre movie/show/etc. at best, a really bad one at worse. Case in point the 2000's movie "The Cell". The review was "This movie is like The Matrix but on crack."

Let's hope that the next patch adds content from Ann Bonnie (blackmail) and closes the plot of Shego agreeing to be your maid to be able to advance in her development, such as "infiltrating" her in the school as a teacher.

I downloaded this game and when I click new game nothing happens, it shows that I’m hovering over it and the clicking sound effect happens but it just stays on the main menu screen
Eeeh... try downloading it again. Seems like your files are corrupt or something

Hey Leroy2012, the quest system is still kinda ass. If you're gonna link quests together (shego and tara), at least show what quest need to do first. Wasted an hour waiting for Tara story to progress while not knowing that I need to finish Shego's quest first.

As the sleeping kirby just showed, that is literally already in the game.

Improving the questlog even to the point of giving a step by step guide wouldn't help if you don't open it.

Yeah, because I believe in the quest log that I wasted my time. In Tara's quest, Lies, the step "wait for her to try something else" is where I had the problem. It didn't say I need to finish Shego's quest Bluffing for Tara's to trigger. Just want to point that out

I know I'm slowly replaying this game and slowly getting back into Murplur's stuff, but looking at it right now, it'd be kinda cool if Ron and Sr. just kinda...became friends. For no reason than to satisfy my own desire.

The shares are getting ridiculous. They shouldn't be steadily increasing after having not bought a lot of them. Or at the very least, we should be getting compensation for contributing to them. Right now it's asking me to spend almost 500 bucks when I've only gotten like...3 of them. And every time I look at it it keeps increasing higher and higher.
