It's strange, this game is an RPGM, but when I open it using JoiPlay, it doesn't work. It feels like I'm using the Unity engine, not RPGMaker. Previously, it worked fine with JoiPlay.

From the little I played (a few hours), the game itself is good.
A suggestion:
Since there's a menu in the game that allows you to equip and unequip items, add an option for Jillian to change clothes or walk around naked.
This would give more freedom in controlling the character.
And in future developments, it might allow you to equip a protective item.
For example: Military clothing or SWAT armor.

Because the RPGMaker thats basically a game engine in Javascript running in a browser was heavily modified with Windows-specific libraries for no good reason. And the .NET runtime. Like, if you want all this platform specific stuff, a whole different language like C#, why not pick an engine like Godot that supports C# out of the box?

We still use JS only in this project. Additional libraries were added because we wanted some features for our game, and plugins with such features are pretty heavy and requiring some additional stuff rather than download-produce.
Don't mind me, I'm just mad I couldn't get your game to work after poking at wine for almost an hour.
How tf did you kill the sheriff? I throw all the grenades at him and he just heals the damage.

It is a tough fight,, I think it needs nerfing, but if you go to the smartphone in your inventory, use this code - 555495 and access the cheat menu, give yourself the LMG and ammo and he dies really quick. I hate using cheats but its the only way I could get past him, he is that hard and the dog if you kill it respawns after some time

I found a quick little hack without cheats. Just sprint away to a safe distance and hit your inventory key -it freezes time and gives you a head start to swap between the grenade and the shotgun. (You could also do a quick reload and freeze again before you shoot). Time only unfreezes when you fire, so you basically can’t miss. In short: run, freeze, reload, freeze, shoot, repeat. Do the dog first and then the Sheriff.
