Overview:
Hello, I'm CatInHeat! RedXCat is basically a mod of a mod. The main game Project X created by Zeta, and the first mod was made by RedeyeSamurai under the name of "Love Potion Disaster Mod Edition" and finished the game making new stages, updates, and an ending. After his mod ended he opened the game for modding by everyone and I decided to do my own version of it. He kindly helped me with some coding stuff and I'm making the updated and new animations. This is still a WIP and there'll be more updates in the future until I call it finished.​

Finished and publicly released animations, yes. Animation WIPs on the other hand will be exclusive for my supporters on Subscribestar. That being said I have to say that this game mod is my side project as I mainly draw weekly content in general like classic art and comics so if you decide to come support me on Subscribestar you will mostly see that content so I don't want to look like I'm tricking people for a only game content related supporter page. - The next update of the mod gonna take some more time as there are several things I want to add before I share another build. First I want to finish at least one sex animation for futa Surge with every player. Right now Rouge, Zeta and Cream's animations are left for Surge. Secondly I want to edit the succubus animations and turn them into a futa on female one. Lastly I'll kick Incubus out of the game and replace him with a loli futa succubus. After finishing all that I'll share 1.4 update.

- Yes I do plan on adding Marine the raccoon as new playable character at some point but new player addition isn't gonna happen until I'm done with the base mod all codes are settled. That being said as there'll be some replacements of the older enemies with new ones during mod development such as the Incubus I mentioned. Also planning to add Katswell as special boss in boss rush.

- It's hard to tell for now but we'll see!

Probably too much pressure and irl problems led to that but the team still did the best they could. I still appreciate the start they gave so eventually it managed to finish even in a mod form.

I'm glad you enjoy it! I'm thinking of using pregnancy mechanics to remain defeat animation related since impregnation happens after creampie defeats so that's more fitting to do it this way.

No sorry. Player getting impregnated by the enemy and giving birth gonna be the main mechanic of the mod so a male playable character would be pointless as most of the enemies are already male and I'm gonna turn every female enemy into futa so all they can impregnate the player. Even before these reasons, I generally don't like male on male and futa on male content so male players would get removed regardless. Also I don't like Tails' character personally so there are plenty of reasons to not bring him back.

While I know a decent amount of people are pretty sad about tails being removed, If he's getting replaced anyway and there's mechanics that make m/m not function correctly then It makes sense at least to me.

Though the comment at the end is a little abrasive sounding which is probably why people aren't happy with it. But it is your mod so that's kind of a given that if you don't like it, then you have every right to remove it

if anything, someone should take up the mantle to do the opposite and make a version of project x that is exclusively m/m. Replace most of the female cast with male counterparts for people who want that kind of game

Though that's a pipe dream, I'm honestly astonished (and excited) that SPXLPD is getting any love these days, especially with impregnation mechanics and marine

I personally don't understand why people don't just go play the main game that has Tails in it rather than getting upset over an optional mod that doesn't have him in it here. Besides the technical reasons and my personal taste in content on his removal I think I can tell why I also personally don't like Tails' character if anyone wonders. The reason is fandom's double standards I witnessed over the years. Both Cream and Tails are practically the same type of characters on being younger(at least on the outside since Sega made them ageless now) than others but only Cream gets criticized whenever she appears in an nsfw art or game. No one ever questions Tails content and gives him free pass all the time but bashes others to the ground whenever someone brings up Cream. Even in the original PX game you can see that only Cream gets off model aged up game over animations while everyone else including Tails stays true to their original designs. Now everytime I see something related to Tails I immediately remember the fandom's behaviour that pisses me off.

Kind of both. This is a mod for the game but it's an already modified version so you don't need to have the main game separated and put the mod in it. You can directly download the latest version from the link I gave here and run the modded game
