Concerning the talk of the orc unit losing their ranged form I think things will play out like this.

- The javelin orc will be cut in order to make the leaping melee orc his own thing. The devs seem to talk of making each monster into their own individual unit likely with its own special behaviours, probably to prevent some units just becoming straight upgrades to the ones available before. But there'll always be that quality vs quantity argument to make I imagine.

- The two classes for each species of monster from here on will likely be one for the normal monster and then one for the monster girl variant. Whether they both do the exact same thing is anybody's guess.

- This could also indicate that the oni girl might have unique combat behaviour too.


Some of my other opinions regarding separate things.

- I believe we will eventually see more negative/positive traits in breeding and unique ones stuck to species, but I could see that being a lower priority thing for the devs when there's a lot of unit archetypes to fill.

- I also see talk about the current difficulty and breeding stat caps. I don't think the devs have any reason to stifle our ability to make megatroopers with the normal difficulty, especially since enemy waves can easily outpace our (current, for now) numbers, and they can probably bump up the enemy levels with the difficulty too. But currently with one difficulty setting I don't think they gain anything from making players min-max their armies.

- Lastly, since we've already seen one support unit for the enemy's side and no healing macguffins of any kind for our forces, I'm anticipating we get at least one support unit and support building in the near future. Personally I'm just hoping to have the towers be manned and upgraded.

This game (which doesn't actually even have a name yet, ProjectR is just a placeholder) is still in Early Development, we are just lucky to get demo versions and see it's development as it happens.

These are now a FAQ.

But not the "International Payment Issue", I haven't seen anyone "mentioned" it. Not yet.
This things usually came from their side. Like, which money converter company they use, and/or if the converter is available or not(in many ways).
As someone who's been getting the same BS of this problem when trying to get games via bank card(s), I personally can relate. Thus why gift cards are useful... If it's accepted, that is.

I think dev team should use the breeding system from goblin burrow.
Like if a goblin (1 HP bonus) mating with a warrior then next gen will get 1 damage bonus and 1 HP bonus , also when you use a warrior to breast feed baby , that baby also get 1 damage bonus as grow up. Or when you feed monster meal , it will raise monster's stats , but you can only feed 1 meal a day.
Or the high grade monsters (like orc ) are born random when mating.

I personally don't think there is a need to adopt a new formula. They just need to utilize what MBM had and improvise it instead at this point.
...Except, if they already going with the RPG-styled concept., that is.

I'm looking forward to a more complete game, with the ability to pause this would be a truly amazing game!
I can pause the game normally.
Except, if you mean "ZA WARUDO"; where you suspend the time and do stuff similar to MBM. They probably going to add that in the future.
The current pause in-game is the usual pause that you'd expect, but the camera still can be moved around using keys.

MBM system very low easily reachable caps on all stats, which made almost all breeding planning out of the window as soon as Mansion or Brothel opens up. Take 1 girl, powerfeed her all milk and in 1-2 days You get steady supply of girls and monsters of softcapped stats.

PR has same system but with % chance of inheritance of stats which is just tedious to see 6 stats girls and 5 stats monster bring out 1 stat goblin to the world.

I absolutly do not like BOTH system, but PR is in progress so no offense.

First thing coming to mind is Diminishing Returns growth via "Faster" stat. And have it capped to no be higher than X% from lowest version of stat of both partners. (With value 20% -> If one has 500 and another 100, child will have 120 max (120% of lowest 100 stat) Each stat can have own growth caps, and maybe absolute value would be more preferable because at lower levels growth can be stagnant and on higher we go onto godlike territories again.
Example:
Replace -N sec breeding time to +N% Faster breeding. -> +100% halves, +900% makes it 10% of original, +9900% makes it 1% of original breeding time. Each progress of stat.
+N% Health/Damage scale of base value to have some races be better in some stats.
+N% Crit to scale of base value instead of absolute crit chance. Make double/Tripple crit so it never goes to waste. Tune up crit damage stat or remove it.
+N% Pegnancy capcity also scale from base value, so some races will have higher

Having almost unreachable floor in perfection and less negative feedback from having useless kids born from GODLIKE goblin would go far IMO.

Pretty sure there are people understands your point, I think I do also; but as I previously mentioned, its probably hard for them to adept a new formula. Considering they had to change the original plan.
Thus why, I personally not against a new breeding system. Only that, at this point; its better to just improvise what they currently have rather than making a new one.

And besides, the game has been announced to be MOD-ABLE.
Which means, you can make your own breeding formula once the game finally released.
(I guess I should put this into FAQ, since people seems to keep forgetting about it)

Do you mean "improve"? "improve" means "make better", "improvise" means "creatively make something on the spot". For example, "improvised weapon" is any not-weapon that you hit other people with.

Because "changes" doesn't always mean "improvement/better than" for "everyone". By choice however, "everyone may be capable to adapt" to it.

unless you modded the game that can only happen by day 40 or so, milk takes a long time to accumulate and each unit of it has only 15% chance to upgrade relevant stat. For that to happen you would need shit ton of girls and time, by the time you get the amount of milk you could have opened private estate and maxed girl's stats with mc

As for as MBM is concerned, I find that the only 3 important stats are Conception, growth rate and breed time on the monsters, while with girls, they only need conception chance and multiple pregnancies. If they're always cranking out fast growing babies, then you don't really need to worry about much else.

All of the slave problems can be solved with furry milk, which I solve as early as day 4. Once you get foxes, they very quickly produce more milk than can be handled because of their racial trait.

The monster issue can be solved by day 3 with the help of fox milk and the release of slaves with the rare traits. If you got two trait upgrade potions from Amelia from the daily purchases on the days before, you can turn a +5 breeding time into a -5 breeding time, from there, chain breed until minimized.
Then the furry milk will expand the breed timer slave's womb size for larger monsters. Easy as.

I feel like we should get back on topic though. This is a ProjectR thread, after all.

I agree, but in the original message you said about all stats to soft cap, not just the three that furries give

that racial trait has a small chance of activating, so either get super lucky or savescum for that to work reliably

you can turn a +5 breeding time into a -5 breeding time, from there, chain breed until minimized
for that you need gnome npc to get training, brothel (day10 earliest) or get birth count reset (since by the time you get her to max lewd so that her breeding time passive get boosted) and even then it could be boosted to +0 which will not increase

all and all, it needs alot more game time than "by day 3 you're good"

as for Project R - getting crazy hp and attack values and then trivializing the combat can be solved with softcaps (say, cap is double of base stat, for hp and attack). As for passing the traits it is annoying enough as it is, if in the future we'll need more that 2 stats it will take ungodly amount of breeding to pass down 5 traits or the same amount of savescumming

Another solution to overpowered stats could be "upkeep", either food or gold with amount depending on their stats (combat stats could have major impact on the upkeep while breeding stats could have minor impact). That way you could still make gigaslayer who will trivialize the combat, but then the challenge will become farming for their upkeep
