high5 , the good reviews mostly come from people who liked the devs' previous game, Monster Black Market, who expect this game to eventually become as good as MBM. There is no need to suspect any foul play in the reviews.

For now, we have a game with a very good interface (as opposed to games like Charm Commerce), nice graphics, relaxed gameplay (you only face as much danger as you bring on yourself), and somewhat lacking in sexual content (3 types of males, 4 types of females, and monstergirls refuse to have sex with monsters).
Note that earlier versions didn't have relaxed gameplay, and you had to race to get troops which are strong enough and numerous enough to repel the rampaging women hordes.

A Null Reference Error means something in the code is being called that can't be found. You might have renamed something that you shouldn't have, either a folder or a file integral to the game. Considering the building itself can't be found, it's likely something in your pathing.

If your machine is not defaulting to English, it might be renaming file paths and files. In that case, a fresh install might be your best bet while enforcing name encoding doesn't change.

Edit: As an aside, seeing just the Null Reference Errors isn't super helpful. Either the full log or the start of errors would be more useful. Also, taking a Screenshot using the Print Screen/Prt Sc key might be a bit more informative than just a phone's photo. You can still crop out unnecessary details.

Also, you might want to take screenshots of your folder/files if you aren't sure what you should be seeing.

I have so many questions, like why is your computer set 15 years ago? The document you sent was last modified in 2010. Even if the game produces the file, your computer is the one that sets it up.

I have no idea why you can't also just send a screenshot of the files and upload those as well, but that is besides the issue. I'll assume going forward you are using a Windows OS since you gave a .docx file.

Ignoring that, and the fact that the document just failed to extract properly with WinRAR (which isn't your fault, I'm pretty sure), I believe I saw an error message.

If it failed at Update time, the game has a no references for loading data. That typically means your file system or the file it is looking for is an empty/null space filled with garbage for the game. Does your game otherwise just have all the things like #Settings or #Play for buttons as well? That is a sign it also can't find the language files and is defaulting.

Again, get a new/fresh extract of the files without changing encoding, the language of every file and folder has to be in English (the files are looking for exact names here).

If that does not work, and you get a similar error, assuming your keyboard somehow does not have a prt sc/print screen key:
Windows key + Function(fn) key + shift key should bring up the screenshot tool.

I apologise for my oversight! Thank you for your time, as you said I took a screenshot of the screen, when I log in I encounter the error table, then the error log and I can't do anything else!

The game is quite literally in development, the 'full save' you can do in like 30 minutes minus getting Sisters.

We are getting an update in maybe a month that would make your 'full save' worthless.

Also, pretty sure someone has a save for the latest version here, just search.

I found the reason why the game wouldn't start! I played on the old version uninstalled then it worked!

A devlog post for this game just came out. It's not terribly exciting and there's no releases yet, but it pretty much says we'll be getting 0.5 next weekend. Also for better or worse a change to characteristics and the infamy system.

Well, that depends on how long you've been away from this thread.
We're currently in waiting mode, waiting for version 0.5, which will probably happen next weekend. It is said to bring big changes to the way genetics works in this game. It is also said to bring ability to install slaves in BDSM devices so that your defenders would be able to enjoy them.
The previous big version, 0.4, brought strategic map to the game, so that attacks on your establishment increase or decrease based on your actions on that map. As opposed to versions 0.2-0.3, where we had to rush to build up our defenses against constantly strengthening raids.
The map also introduced a mechanic for obtaining new monsters - we have to send slaves to monsters' lair, so that monsters would impregnate them, and then mount a "rescue" mission to get both the slaves and their unborn children. With this, the game now has 2 kinds of monsters - orcs and goblins. And their female counterparts.

The game's planning switched to the current game around Late July/Early August 2023. Very little of ProjectRPG is held over from that draft/early concept gameplay to now. So, minus rough draft stuff given in that post, we have little concept of time or commitments made beyond the basics. There are also things we can't know about concepts they've tossed into the trash before ever showing them off.

So, yes, it has been nearly 18 months of the three of them working on it. They also are basically working out on what their backers/subscribers do want to a degree as well. The changeover definitely has them on a weird planning cycle where ideas are being fleshed out as added, and engagement is being taken on them.

Also, I don't think any of the members of Team Applepie/Applepai are full-time, and we don't know their life. Yes, it is taking a bit longer than we hoped for, but they are at least still producing.

Edit: So for a short answer. I don't think they had a concrete planning stage post ProjectRPG.

Charm Commerceis is buggy and UI is terrible, I should know, I bought it and played to the end.

So I don't understand the position of the devs about monster girls. Are they only avaible for MC or for minions (in the future) as well. Because right know it takes a lot time to upgrade monster girls and human girls, cause only 4 rooms and usually MC cannot interact with more than 3 of 4, because of timing.

Its still too early to get an annotation of that. Although, since we've mentioned it, I think the dev will actually take a look of it if they see your post, actually managed to get what it means, and give a consideration. I believe there are the old posts that asks the same inquiry as well.

Ofc, I also think the monster girls should be able to have intimacy to at least their own races as well.
Unfortunately, that also means on making the project delayed further due to creation of the animation for them.

PS: I'll be putting that as FAQ, since its now a repetitive question.
