Sorry, I'm too excited about the latest cinematic to remember his name, I can't think of anything other than fighting zombies with a soundtrack from Audiomachine and epic slo-mo
Jokes aside, cinematic is great, to awesome to be maked in daz.
More seriously, like I said it's a solid episode. The best of season 2 in par with EP9. Starting with a very impressive action sequence. The camera angles, animations quality and fluidity are very impressive for the genre. Not to mention the soundtrack.
The episode is like promised more tense and serious than the previous ones and that's the good thing. Because the game doesn't only shine thanks to the humor but also through a solid work on the characters. The focus on characters respective inner conflicts is perfectly executed
With everything we learned this episode, most notably the overarching antagonists, the stakes keep climbing. Sure,a lot of things are fully inspired by Mass Effetc.
but the game has become way more ambitious, more deep. The team really feels like a team, even when a character isn't one of the main focus he never feels left out. It's now way easier to get invested in their mission and the emotional attachment keeps growing.
Usually not unless you have a 4K 60 inch monitor that needs Hi_Res images. Just smaller size due to reduced quality images/videos. I normally used compressed until the game is done - then get what the Dev intended for us. :>)
Less graphic and audio quality usually, I don't play compressed im my Tier S favorite games nor Tier A games (Tier A only use compressed if they are too large in size, like over 10GB+). But my Tier B and C rated games I usually always play compressed, what I can tell you isn't much, in some I notice the downgrade of image quality and in some others is barely noticeable. I usually first play them full size but then updates I play them with the version on their tier.
*I rate the games I try myself From Tier S and those are the ones in my sig (10/10) A (8 and 9/10) B (6 and 7/10) C (5/10), worse than those I delete them right away hehe. It is my own criteria and tastes so to each their own .

Yep all those for me excel in a few categories so they are my Tier S(pecial), I love sci-fi (8 of them if not mistaken) and fantasy (3 of them plus most of the sci-ones ofc) so most of them are those genres, the other 4 are either Mystery/Thriller/Slice of life/College genres. But all of them have engaging stories for my taste and that is what I value the most, some excel more than the others either in graphics/soundtrack/gameplay variety/Production quality but they are at least good in those departments.
In the case of Projekt Passion is clearly a space opera sci-fi genre with the usual good vs evil tropes, but is for me the most funny one with maybe Ripples, Eternum, Artemis and MBIML very close in the humor. Have excellent animations and the renders progressively got better, atm they are the best you can get in AVNs imho. Never in other game I'm so eager to find the game over death scenes like in PP they are very funny.
Only just started playing and i can already say this update rocks! Probably seems like it will be one of the best of season 2 so far. That whole sequence with the "deep ones" poem and the Antessian zombies and that ancient 99th legion was really cool.
Alright so maybe I'm missing something. Do I need to copy my save folder over to the new update folder to not have to play from the beginning of chapter 8?

A great thing about Projekt Passion's immersion to me personally is that the setting makes a harem setup believable. You're on a ship, you're the only guy.
I don't particularly like harem story because most of the time it doesn't make sense for the setting but in Projekt Passion, it's within the realm of believability
On this update, that last dialogue choice with Ashe, the resulting conversation is just SO GOOD. It's very well-written!

Well when you save a Renpy game it makes 2 saves in different locations, one is inside the game main installation inside the game folder and is a folder named "Saves". And also every Renpy game uses another location and the usual route is System Drive usually C:>Users>(your windows user name)>AppData (This folder usually is hidden by default so you have to set the file explorer to show hidden files/folders)>Roaming>RenPy.
And then in that location appears all the RenPy folders with a "backup" of the RenPy games you made saves. If you didn't delete that location or made a new OS installation, your saves should be there, and when you run a game you played before the saves appear in your game.
Since I usually keep my favorite games that I played before in a separate drive, I usually move the save folder to the new game installation, unless the game update supplies an update only zip file and there is no need since I use the same installation.
So my advice is, run the new version and check if appears your old saves, if so it is using the "backup". If they don't appear and you have the older version move the Saves folder to the new one.
If my explanation is too complicated just DM me or maybe someone else here maybe explain it to you better
